Today's Update: 1St.Sep.2024 As we enter early September, today's weather is characterized by cloudy skies and a strong likelihood of rain. Typically, such conditions would be a perfect excuse to enjoy a warm coffee while listening to Fairuz’s “Winter is Back.” However, this year is markedly different. The focus has shifted from simple comforts to urgent survival, as we face the challenge of safeguarding ourselves from severe flooding. Currently, 80% of displaced individuals are living in tents under harsh, polluted conditions. Their suffering is relentless through all seasons—spring, summer, fall, and winter. The conflict continues unabated, now entering its 330th consecutive day, bringing devastation from the youngest to the oldest. Every day, lives are tragically lost and communities are torn apart. With your incredible support, we’ve completed projects that are changing lives:  Water Well in South Sudan – Providing clean water to those who previously had none.  NCV Rwanda Fence – Protecting vulnerable children with a secure and safe space. Now, we are focusing on two projects:  Clean Water for Kitongo – Phase One of a replacement/expansion water plant in Tanzania. The solar-powered pump and pipes ensures ample water from Lake Victoria for the community. (This project is nearly 100% funded by our recent Bucks for Buckaroos event)  Safe Dorms for Kahunda, Mainsprings Tanzania – Building safe dormitories for orphaned children.
