Reflecting on my early days directing commercials for a well-known hot dog chain, a shot like this would have taken at least two hours, block, light and shoot to perfection. Anyone familiar with food photography knows the challenges involved. Today, thanks to advancements in AI, I was able to achieve exactly what I wanted in just 10 minutes. While these emerging technologies may unsettle some, it's impossible to ignore the shift on the horizon. As one art director I worked with once said, 'Advertising is short-term and disposable' — and AI is rapidly proving to be a game changer in this space. #AIinAdvertising #CreativeTechnology #FutureOfMarketing #DigitalTransformation #AIInnovation #AdvertisingEvolution #FoodPhotography #AIImpact #MarketingTrends #CreativeAI #TechInAdvertising #AIAdvancements #CommercialProduction #FutureOfWork #AdTech #AutomationInAdvertising #AIAndCreativity #ContentCreation #AdvertisingInnovation #TechDrivenCreativity
If its that easy to prompt, why wouldnt the client just do this themselves? What is to stop this from making agencies redundant?
Wow, looks like the real thing. But what are the legal/branding implications of marketing a digital AI generated image of food product that you're trying to sell and passing it off as real? Haven't brands caught hell for simple styling the food in a way that doesn't match the reality of what they sell in restaurants/stores? CGI/AI generated food product imagery it would just be taking it to a whole new level. For practically every other product category could be a game changer.
I’ve also seen a fair amount of pretty good examples of “perfect food” shots come out of midjourney.
A sesame seed hot dog bun? Good lord, AI has so much more to learn.

4moCurious what it looked like before and then what your prompt was in order to make the final image. Or is this an entirely AI generated image based on your prompt?
