Reflecting on our recent journey as a newly certified B Corp, Escient had the incredible opportunity to immerse ourselves in the heart of the movement at the recent B Corp Assembly 2024. Gathering with 300 fellow members from across our region, we dived into conversations on how B Corps can lead the charge in tackling our world's most pressing social and environmental issues. We left with minds buzzing and hearts full, armed with key takeaways that we're eager to share: ➡ Embedding reconciliation B Corps have the responsibility to embed reconciliation into everything we do, by embracing indigenous business practices and adopting a 100-year business plan that looks beyond our generation. ➡ Collaborative transformation Real systems change requires diversity of values and perspectives. Collaboration is our strongest tool for growth. ➡ Business for good It's not just a concept—it's a way of life. We need to embrace it and embed it into our daily practices and ethos. ➡ Neurodiversity in hiring Creating inclusive spaces means valuing neurodiversity and empowering every voice in our team. ➡ Socially aware procurement Empowering procurement seats with social awareness training amplifies our impact throughout the supply chain. ➡ Collaboration Freely sharing best practices and inviting collaboration to accelerate our collective impact. Assembly 2024 reminded us of the essence of being a B Corp—pushing boundaries, inspiring change, and driving meaningful impact. Together, we can continue to elevate the role of business in society and pave the way for a brighter, more sustainable future. This foundation not only supports current achievements but also paves the way for future triumphs. It instills a long-term vision, promotes sustainable growth, and ensures that each peak is a stepping stone towards even greater heights. 🖤 ✨ #BusinessSuccess #SolidFoundation #FutureTriumphs
