Attention farmers! Are you concerned about PFAS contamination? This study is investigating the link between PFAS in animals and biosolids or wastewater applied to land. PFAS are chemicals that can accumulate in the environment and animals, and researchers are concerned that PFAS in livestock could enter the human food chain. The study is recruiting farmers from four states in Australia. If you participate, you will be asked to provide blood samples from your livestock and soil and water samples from your property. All data will be confidential, and you will receive your individual test results and a consultation about what they mean.
