The highlight was the bubbly and detailed presentation by Maeva Chardon that clearly pinpointed the everyday challenges of repurposing furniture. It is already a few years since we renovated and refurbished the 7th floor of the Ideon Science Park ELITE HOTEL to make space for the #postpandemic office for Plantvision AB and decided to buy only refurbished workspaces. It was interesting to listen how self imposed targets to re-use furniture are the norm these days. Our series of promoting FGOI hubs continues with the Interior Cluster Sweden (ICS), which has established a new European furniture hub. This initiative aims to enhance international trade and collaboration within the furniture sector. 🤝 ICS is a non-governmental, nonprofit organization that unites companies, organizations, and entities within Sweden’s furniture and interior design sector. Established to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth, ICS serves as a pivotal platform for knowledge exchange and cooperation. Each cluster in the FGOI project has set its criteria and procedures for welcoming representatives.
