Buy A Box, and Starbucks will give back. Starbucks has a long record of action on hunger relief efforts, and this holiday season, we’re building on our year-round commitment by inviting customers to take action in giving back with us through the purchase of a protein box. At participating Starbucks stores, for every protein box sold now through January 2, 2025, we’ll be donating the monetary equivalent of one meal to @feedingamerica. $1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America™ on behalf of local partner food banks. We’re also contributing an additional $4 million in grants to nearly 300 local hunger relief organizations nationwide to support those nonprofits critical to redistributing food donations through Starbucks FoodShare program. As part of our promises to give more than we take from the planet and contribute positively to the communities we serve, to date, we’ve invested more than $81.5 million into food waste reduction and hunger relief efforts. We’ve also diverted over 75 million pounds of edible food from waste streams – which is equivalent to nearly 63 million meals.* #FoodAccess #HungerRelief *According to the USDA, 1.2 pounds of food is equivalent to one meal.
