Arrow is pleased to share some key developments from the field and our ongoing work program in Colombia! Here’s what we’ve been up to: 🔹 Our fifth horizontal well, CNB HZ-6, is now on production and performing above expectations. 🔹 The CNB pad's new water disposal facility has been up and running since early November, driving future production growth and reducing reliance on trucking. 🔹 With a cash position over $18M and no debt, we are in a strong financial position and continue to focus on executing our extensive work program in Colombia. 🔹 What’s Next for 2024? Our focus is on completion of the sixth horizontal well in our program, CNB HZ-7, which was spud in September. The rig is now moving to drill the Alberta Llanos prospect (formerly known as Baquiano-1). Read the full release for more information: https://bit.ly/3Z0Beod

One fascinating aspect of LPG ships that underscores their complexity and the expertise required to operate them is the use of advanced cargo containment systems. These ships can transport liquefied petroleum gas at extremely low temperatures, sometimes as low as -42°C, to keep the gas in a liquid state. This is achieved using fully refrigerated tanks, which allow the LPG to be carried at nearly atmospheric pressure, making the transportation of large volumes more efficient and safer. Mastering the operation of these sophisticated systems is a testament to the high level of skill and knowledge possessed by professional mariners. #LPG #shippilots #houstonshipchannel #porthouston #houstonpilots #ships #mariners #maritimeindustry #energyindustry

Shell signs for 10 product tankers in China 🇨🇳 Shell has tapped the Chinese newbuilding market for MR2 product tankers worth around $480m. Shipbuilding sources have placed the UK supermajor behind a deal for ten 50,000 dwt newbuilds worth $48m each at CSSC Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI). The conventionally-fuelled ships are expected to enter service between 2027 and 2028. The deal follows on from a letter of intent Shell inked with the yard, which has more than 70 MR newbuilding projects under its belt. MR2s make up about 23% of the total tanker fleet, with more than 1,700 units on the water. However, the segment has been facing an increasing age profile where a substantial number of tankers are set to cross the 20-year mark – leading to a surge in orders in the past two years. The MR2 orderbook-to-fleet ratio stood at over 17% as of the end of September, according to brokers, with the second-largest tanker orderbook after the aframax/LR2 segment.

RBC Elements™: Trans Mountain Tanker Tracker Based on our data analysis, 24 tankers departed from the Westridge Marine Terminal in October. This would suggest to us that the Trans Mountain Pipeline (TMPL) could be running slightly above contracted capacity rates of 712,000 bbl/d.
