We have developed a stand for Ukrainian Railways at the InnoTrans exhibition — the largest international exhibition of transport technologies, which united 137,400+ exhibitors from 137 world countries. The modern design and symbols of sustainability are the main accents of the stand: 🔹 Clear lines, minimalism, and the use of durable materials. 🔹 The stand has a negotiation area for business meetings. 🔹 The central element was an LED screen for presentations and demonstrations of the company's innovations. 🔹 Additionally, the stand includes areas for communication with visitors and informative expositions. 🔹Separately, the stand was decorated with road signs damaged. We are open to cooperation. Can you imagine the work that goes into creating a stand of this size and stature? 🤯 Every design element, health & safety aspect, brand requirement and customer impact consideration needs a level of knowledge and detail that takes years to perfect. (Luckily enough, we have plenty of that here between everyone. 😂) #exhibitionstands #b2b #b2c #standdesign #exhibitions #customerexperience #projectdevelopment #projectmanagement
Watch our largest exhibition stand to date come to life! 🤩 Months of meticulous planning and days of construction resulted in our biggest stand yet. And here's the twist - halfway through we flipped the design! 🙃 Initially horizontal, the design wasn't quite hitting the mark. So in a moment of clarity, we turned it on its head - and now cannot imagine it any other way! 🤩 What's your biggest eureka moment? If you're planning your next exhibition (of any size!), DM to see what we can create for you. ✨ #primarylive #exhibition #exhibitionstand #exhibitionstands #exhibitiondesign #exhibitions #eventstream #europeanevents #design

#NewArticle Dominant discourses framing the reuse of industrial heritage in the context of mega-events: a relationship matrix approach Florence Graezer Bideau, Huishu Deng & Helena Roux The reuse of industrial heritage sites has become increasingly prevalent in the context of hosting mega-events. This paper aims to investigate this trend, specifically in the context of Olympic Games or World Expos, and its impact on urban regeneration strategies. It introduces a methodological tool, namely, the relationship matrix, to identify key factors from ‘best practices’ criteria for managing industrial sites and planning mega-event legacies. While guidelines and strategies for mega-events and industrial heritage have evolved towards a proactive people-centred approach, our findings still reveal a bias towards material renewal in dominant discourses during the planning phase. This bias often overlooks or even excludes the memories and experiences of local communities. https://lnkd.in/eQ_VMfqC

🌍 All Eyes on Osaka as World Expo Timber Pavilions Take Shape! ⏰ As the countdown to the 2025 World Expo in Osaka continues, the excitement builds with the rise of stunning timber-based pavilions, including significant participation from Ukraine in a powerful "appeal for peace." With over 150 countries set to showcase their innovations, the Expo promises to celebrate culture and sustainability. 🔎 Key Highlights: 1️⃣ Ukraine's Meaningful Participation: Despite the ongoing challenges of war, Ukraine's commitment to the Expo underscores the importance of solidarity and hope. Governor Hirofumi Yoshimura emphasised the significance of their attendance as a symbol of resilience and the quest for peace, especially in light of Russia's withdrawal from the event. 2️⃣ Emphasis on Sustainability: Timber is at the forefront of this Expo, with many pavilions constructed from easily disassembled and reused materials. The Italian Pavilion, designed by Mario Cucinella, exemplifies this approach with its sustainable construction from cross-laminated timber and glulam, embodying the theme of “Art regenerates Life.” 3️⃣ Innovative Designs: The Japanese Pavilion, designed by Nikken Sekkei, explores the cycle of life through its circular architecture and biogas energy system. It showcases how Expo waste can be transformed into energy. This living structure highlights the interconnectedness of life and the sustainability principles at the heart of the Expo. 🤔 #questionforgroup: How can international exhibitions like the World Expo promote sustainability and cultural exchange in a way that inspires future generations? The reason why the locals are opposed to holding the event is obvious and convincing - the ruling prefectural party’s true intention is beyond the Expo. They plan to bring casino afterwards to the place where the Expo will be constructed. The ultranationalist regional party, Ishin, the supplementary party for LDP, has tremendous amount of vested interests due to the casino construction, and holding the Expo is only a pretext. They are making money using the two different occasions, killing two birds with one stone. They have never disclosed the decision making processes on neither construction bidding, nor architectural decisions of both events, no matter how strongly civil society demands for clarification. Nobody wants the casino in town out of various reasons. And everybody knows that the underneath of the site is filled with methane gas. That’s why the toilets under construction there were exploded just recently, and no local media covered if the particular construction worker was injured or not due to the self-censorship. Although Ishin had initially demanded the local elementary schools to have their school excursions at the Expo, some school principal expressed concern and decided not to take their kids to the dangerous site. Who can expect ‘bright future’, as the event’s propaganda says, with the dark event at the smelly site, literally??
