Humanity needs new political faces and fresh ideas, representing everyone as equals instead of to materialize the interests of political lobbyists! The world has to grow together in order to urgently address the issues that impact all of us like conflict, climate change, inequality and forced migration. Mankind can only accomplish this without any dominance; collectively in solidarity. www.convergence.ngo & www.pax.ngo

I basically said the EXACT SAME THING as the gentleman in the video, which is my personal opinion based on my own experiences (including conversations I had with minorities while in Israel) posted on my own social media pages. In response, a group of ANONYMOUS NYU Stern School of Business Alumni wrote a petition asking me to be removed from my role on the Stern Alumni council. When I asked for exactly what the issues were, they sent commentary saying, among other things, that what has been happening in Israel could not be compared to apartheid in South Africa nor other places and essentially said I was race-baiting. I disagree completely, but that's their opinion. The issue is that it's an opinion the school chose over mine despite claiming a position of "neutrality", which is always a false notion in the context of iniquity, and, in practice, completely untrue based on the fact that they took an anonymous complaint and made a decision. The decision: I was told that I would not be able to renew my term as a member of the Stern Alumni Council nor my role as Chair of Stern LGBTQ Alumni, a group for which I had the idea to create and had to fight the previous administration before Raghu Sundaram became the Dean in order for it to even exist. (I had that energy then, I still have that energy now!) Not only is this a failure of the school to honor my authentic voice, dismissing me while not offering any feedback on specific standards that I violated (e.g. if I had targeted or bullied anyone, not only would I understand, I would apologize and probably even remove myself), and allowing a group of people to say some pretty awful things about me while maintaining their anonymity is a horrendous lack of judgement, process, and leadership - and it's downright unfair and hurtful. To add insult to injury, all of this has happened after I have spent 3 years giving my time, energy, and expertise to the Alumni Relations team and in Stern classes as an unpaid guest lecturer. Under my tenure the Identity Affinity Groups grew to new heights nearly doubling the amount of events we had as well as attendance at such events. We have mentored students, advised prospective students, staffed panels, assisted admissions efforts, pushed for better data systems, started the annual I-A Holiday Party and Community Brunch, etc. Growing I-A alumni engagement post pandemic was a challenge we took head on, with passion and strategic planning. Yet treating me this way completely contradicts the sense of community Stern says it wants to build amongst alumni. My hope is that someone at Stern figures out a better way to treat community members equitably before they do this to someone else, who gave of themselves in support of the school. As for me, I'll just enjoy being an alum. I'll attend events (not reunion) but not organize, audit courses, and enjoy the relationships I've made with so many wonderful Sternies I've gotten to know over the years....and I'll still speak my mind!
Do we want Pre-Oct7 Palestine? No! Even before #Oct-7 the life under deceitful occupier (I.s.r@.el) lacks basic #humanrights. The people there are treated unjustily. Lets hear from the Jew who has been there and has experienced this life. #freepalestine #savegaza #gazagenocide
