I grabbed the Blackmagic Ursa Mini Camera when they first came out with the intent to set them up as our new live event cameras and to replace our Sony HXR's especially since we use their switchers, monitors, recorders etc. I just couldn't fall in love with them like I do the Sony's color, menu, and the focus tracking now is amazing on Sony. So, I was going to build out FX6's to do both kinds of work. I have an FX6 and love it, but for live events and run and guns you can't beat the camcorder style unless you have an unlimited budget like the big players and large staff/crews. Well Sony came through again and I pre-ordered their Sony Z 200's. BM packages have their part in concerts and corporate for their affordable build outs and request from the concert clients. But for our workflow and us also doing concerts and corporate events, these fit right in, and are in our price range. Shoot, if they placed a full frame sensor in them with some more recording options, they are an FX6 in a camcorder body but you know they'll never build 1 perfect camera! But with a 1" sensor and color matching to the FX6, these are great for us. Also, Imo the gear is half of it, the leaders and crew are the other half so place a great crew on good gear and we can make it look just fine. 3 to start, if we got more events especially sports, we'll grab more and there's nothing wrong with working our HXR's still. Would it be STUPID ifff..... Airplane companies partnered with PVR to screen newly launched movies? See, I am traveling right now and I want to watch Joker 2. It would definitely be utopian for sure. I am not sure about the business model side of it. But with the decrease in people wanting to go to theatres and watching movies, simultaneously the airplane companies guarantee viewership, can become a great collaboration idea. On the other hand, adding an infotainment system in a flight, headphones and the rights to screen the latest movie is an expense. This becomes a free ad for PVR. The question is about legality as well. What if PVR provides the systems? It means that PVR can screen the movie since they have the screening rights. Also does the ticket price increase due to this? Hey Experts, please educate me 🫣
