🌟 #Olympic Medalists Countries Display of sporting prowess : What Drives Success? The Economist explore the factors that contribute to a country's success in the Olympics. #GDP: Wealthier countries tend to perform better, but it's not the only factor. #investment : decent amount of money to invest in training and facilities #Population: Larger populations can provide a broader talent pool, but smaller countries can still punch above their weight. #TalentPool: Access to quality training facilities, coaches, and resources is crucial. A few notes from The previous Economist magazine : 1. "The most successful countries at the Olympics tend to be those with a strong sporting culture, a large talent pool and a decent amount of money to invest in training and facilities." - The Economist, 2012 2. "The relationship between GDP per head and Olympic success is strong... Richer countries can afford to spend more on sports infrastructure, coaching and training." - The Economist, 2016 3. "Population matters, but it is not the only factor... Small countries can punch above their weight if they have a strong sporting culture and invest wisely in training and facilities." - The Economist, 2018 4. "The Olympics are as much about brains as brawn... Mental toughness, strategy and teamwork are just as important as physical strength and endurance." - The Economist, 2020 I'm thinking 🤔 So, what matters most? Is it the country's resources or the individual's mindset? Other Dynamics factors? #Team : A supportive team in Sports Culture and environment can make all the difference. #Physical & #Mental Toughness: The ability to practice & perform under pressure is key. #Coaching and #Mentorship: Guidance from experienced coaches and mentors can help athletes reach their full potential. #Passion and Drive: Personal motivation and dedication are essential. A 15+ point win for France could leap them to 2nd, ahead of 🇨🇦 and 🇳🇿! • Wales vs. Scotland: A win could move Wales to 6th, while Scotland may drop to 9th with a big loss (15+). • Scotland: Even with a win, they remain 6th, still trailing 🇦🇺 by 1.22 points. As I watch the Olympics unfold, I’m struck by the powerful connection between the pursuit of athletic greatness and the relentless drive we apply to our personal and professional goals. The men’s 400m finals at the Paris 2024 Olympics served as a perfect example. Quincy Hall, a top contender, found himself trailing behind. Yet, instead of succumbing to the pressure, he honed in on his race, drawing from the depths of his training, skill, and unwavering resolve. With every stride, he remained laser-focused, shutting out distractions and trusting in the countless hours he had dedicated to preparing for this moment. Quincy pushed himself to the limit, crossing the finish line as a true Olympic champion. This performance highlighted an essential truth: greatness isn’t achieved in isolation. It’s shaped by the company you keep, the rivals you face, and the challenges you overcome. While individual practice sharpens your skills, it’s the competition against high-caliber athletes that pushes you to break through your own boundaries. To reach the pinnacle of success, you must compete with the best, as this will ignite the drive to surpass your own perceived limits. Run your race with unwavering focus. Master the fundamentals. Dig deeper than you ever thought possible, and strive to outwork everyone around you. In doing so, you’ll not only achieve your own greatness but inspire others to rise to the occasion as well. Congratulations, Quincy—your triumph is a testament to the power of dedication, and today, you stand as an Olympic champion! Watch the video!

I understand that World Rugby's supporters, players, coaches and pundits are happy and proud when their team wins. But is it not in the interest of these very people and the game itself, that poor and inconsistent officiating is recognised, improved and ultimately eradicated? Is winning a game of rugby really more important than ensuring that an equal contest and a fair result ensues by applying the officiating system and its processes the way it was designed and intended? How has this issue been so prominent in world rugby for the last decade without referees or the World Rugby Board being held accountable? Is it not obviously evident that it's ruining the sport?

COACH T NOTE: ✍️🏆🏅 Winning Championships is hard to do every Season. Championships are rare, that is why they should be cherished when you Win them! I think to measure where You are is look at what You do after you Win a Championship. Since Winning our Championship in 2022 We compiled a 33-8 (.804) record. That included a 20-4 follow up Season in 2023. What was impressive is We lost key pieces from that Championship Team and in 2024 We only had 3 Players remaining off our 2022 Championship Team. Another key factor is We Won Championships with 2 totally different groups. Different times, eras, and leagues. This shows THE SYSTEM and THE PROCESS works!! The way We do things works. That truly shows our effectiveness. It is the measuring rod for certain. Keep moving it forward! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏅
