New initiative between Art Money and Christie's will allow collectors to bid at auction and pay over time in instalments. Bidders will be able to pay for art over 10 months instead of all at once. Written by Carlie Porterfield Published by The Art Newspaper https://lnkd.in/gJ39hUbT

I am a huge fan of this initiative as this shift towards inclusivity, opens doors for broader participation in the art market, which is sorely needed, especially as the threshold values of artworks continue to rise at major Auction Houses.

Meanwhile Australian Indigenous artists are missing out on their royalty payments mandated by Australian law because the big players have withdrawn from Australia and now sell these artworks overseas.

Pay later option will grow the business than pay at once. Great initiative Christie's
