Here are a few tips I picked: Know your unique value: Identify your strengths and what makes you stand out. Be consistent: Regularly share your expertise, values, and personality through your content. Engage with your audience: Build relationships, not just a following. Stay authentic: People resonate with genuine stories and experiences, and your growth journey. It’s not just about what you know, but how you share it with the world. Consistent efforts to communicate my values and expertise on LinkedIn can open doors, build trust, and create opportunities that would have otherwise remained out of reach. Just as we take time to reflect on the year and set intentions for the new year , your personal brand requires introspection too. Are you staying true to your mission? A 2-week break made my brand much stronger. (You won’t believe how) I took 2-weeks off from LinkedIn because of a project. (A project I think many people can find valuable) I thought this would hurt my personal brand. And it actually did. My engagement dropped. I also lost a bit of my momentum. But I gained something better. During and after my break, I received many DMs: → “Where have you been?” → “Long time, no see buddy!” → “When does the next post come?” This showed me something powerful: → My personal brand stuck with people! My brand was unique to some people. It resonated with them. So, what’s the takeaway? ↳ Create content that truly connects with your audience. ↳ Build real connections, not just a follower count. ↳ Take a break when needed. I ran a #brand #Masterclass yesterday and got some amazing feedback, but this one was most unexpected! Gemma Junyent-King The Movement Maestra, who I met through Enfys Maloney’s #vibrantconnections, sent me a DM saying that she’d always felt ‘fast fixes’ couldn’t possibly have heart or soul about them. Until she met me and saw me in action - so had to tell her followers! Anyone who’s worked with me knows that even my One Day Brand goes incredibly deep. The reason I get the results I do so fast, is because we co-create, but also because I know the right, thought-provoking questions to ask…(and I listen, A LOT) People have said that: ♥️ it’s “like therapy” ♥️ they got to know themselves and their business far better than before ♥️ they had never thought about these things before ♥️ it’s so wonderful to have this focused time to spend on their business ♥️ it’s THE SINGLE most productive day they’ve ever spent on their business ♥️ that they’ve never had the chance to talk about themselves and their business for this long before - it feels kind of indulgent! Far from feeling rushed, I’ve been told that it feels like “an effortless chat between friends down the pub” (John Peddie) Far from there being no heart, there is laughter, connection, vulnerability and sometimes even tears, when the breakthroughs come or when they see their brand is finally ‘born’ (Lorna Reeves, you were the first, but not the last!). I’ve even been called a ‘brand doula’ by someone! Anyone who knows me knows how deeply I care about my clients’ happiness and success. That connection stays so deep that many clients become friends. One, Justin Woods, even offered to come onto my masterclass to talk about his experience. And Andy Pieroux knows what a big soppy, sentimental soul I am. In fact, the reason I developed my One Day Brand was incredibly heart-led. Because time is the one asset we will never get back and I don’t want to waste a precious moment of yours - or mine. The reason I get great results in short timeframes is simply because I’m really bloody good at what I do. It’s why some of my clients called me ‘SuperSaps’ (and where the superhero thing came from). They find it magical and mind-blowing that we can achieve all we do. That they end up with a brand they truly love… so seemingly effortlessly. An year ago, I was struggling to balance being a mother of 2 boys and starting my journey as a personal branding strategist. I wanted to build my brand and help others, but every day felt like a race against time. 1 problem: I felt overwhelmed trying to manage my kids’ schedules while figuring out my own brand strategy. Most people had no idea what I did or how I could help them. It took me a month to gain traction and build a small audience. But now, I’ve found ways to balance motherhood and my personal branding journey more effectively: 1. Plan content during kids’ nap time or school hours. 2. Repurpose daily tasks into relatable content. 3. Batch-create content during weekends to stay consistent. 4. Use voice notes to jot down ideas while cooking or cleaning. 5. Involve the kids in my content occasionally—they love it! Important ↓ The key is prioritizing small, consistent actions every day. By breaking tasks into manageable steps, I can show up for my audience and my family without burning out.
