Making a VR portal - first attempt 🔥🌌🧙🏻♂️ To amuse myself, I decided to create features and objects that would be cool to me if it were in reality and one of those objects is a portal! This time I was lucky enough to find a YouTube tutorial and I was actually able to do everything it said, but now it needs to be adapted with VR I encountered a problem with the objects and the device of the helmet itself, if in Unity itself everything is fine, then in Meta Quest 3 the portal itself is displayed as in Scene (Wrong angle) I think after a few iterations I'll be able to adapt this to VR and finally teleport, I think it's a very cool mechanic and can be fun to play with - illusions and so on What unusual features would be cool to create in VR? In my discussions with people, I noticed there's still a mix up between what AR and VR is AR (Augumented Reality) is different from VR (Virtual Reality), although they are both Immersive technologies, meaning they "immerse" the users senses in the feeling of a digital space #uiux #Productdesign #AugmentedReality #AR #DesignTech #Innovation
