🚨 Trial on Controlling Thrips in Chrysanthemum Plants 🚨 Excited to share insights from a recent trial conducted with my team, where we experimented with various chemical treatments to manage thrips infestations in Chrysanthemum plants. 🌱 We tested combinations of Admire, Abamectin, Insecta, and Fipronil in different ratios. 🧪 Here’s what we found: - The Admire + Abamectin + Surfactant and Fipronil + Insecta (1:1.5:0.75) ratios showed significant effectiveness in thrips control. - Some phytotoxicity was observed in Poinsettia and Celosia crops, but no negative effects were found in Carnation, Argyranthemum, and more. Looking for advice from fellow professionals: I have already used the following herbicides: 1. Atlantis Super (Mesosulfuron-methyl + Iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium) by Bayer Crop Science 2. Axial (Pinoxaden) by Syngenta 3. *Mesosulfuron-methyl + Florasulam + MCPA However, these herbicides have not been effective in controlling narrow-leaf weeds in wheat. It seems resistance has developed. If anyone has suggestions or insights on effective solutions for controlling narrow-leaf weeds in wheat, I would greatly appreciate your input! #wheat #weeds #weedicide #narrow_leaf

WANTFA’s research for the Grain Legume project has introduced new acid-tolerant rhizobia strains for Groups E & F (lentils, field peas, faba beans, vetch), which may expand suitable soil types for these crops. Chickpeas, however, showed promising nodulation results only with experimental strains, offering hope that commercial options may be near.
