📢 Excited to share our latest research publication! 🔬 Comparative Analysis of Upper Body Kinematics in Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, and Healthy Subjects – An observational study utilizing an innovative, IMU-based version of the Box and Block Test. In collaboration with a fantastic team, we’ve developed a method to quantitatively assess upper limb function, revealing new insights into compensatory strategies in neurological conditions. Our study highlights: ✓Upper limb kinematics as a tool for assessing motor function in stroke and Parkinson's patients. ✓Significant correlations between kinematic measures and clinical assessments. ✓The potential for personalized and person-centered rehabilitation treatments focusing on upper limb recovery. This marks an important milestone, a well-deserved achievement for our brilliant bioengineer PhD fellow Elena Sofia Cocco 👏. Her expertise and dedication have been key to this success! I read about corporate burnout cases every year & always wonder why? In corporates we always have a Boss & a team and if you are not aligned then the emotional response over a period of time is burnout. Same with social structures as families, clubs, housings societies there is someone calling the shots & you will notice these burnout cases. So the wise thing to do is to identify the business & social structures that give you these burnouts & then love them from a distance. If you want my tips on long distance love, I can share it, but finally you need to find your baseline for this. I try to remember that time passes faster than we think & sooner are old and burnouts are not a great period in this journey to think back on. Rest is upto you
