Despite raising the issue in my previous post and trying to reach their customer support, there's been no resolution. It's frustrating when a service you rely on for both personal and professional matters fails to address basic concerns. Fun fact! Why do we pspspspspspsps when we want to call cats? Because cats are most sensitive to sounds around 8kHz. The pspspspsps sound we make falls between 7kHz to 10kHz. I ran a quick pspspspspsps test and it appears mine appears to peak at 8kHz. Try it out for yourself. It's really simple! Take a standard cardioid condenser microphone, route it into your computer through an XLR system (or USB as is appropriate), adjust your gain until you hit proper recording levels, configure your DAW's buffer size, sample rate, and bit depth, and enable real time frequency analysis. Then arm a track and record. Watch where your pspspspsps peaks at.
