Demand for #sustainable #battery #materials ♻️ 🔋 is growing in both the United States and Europe. CEO Mike O'Kronley was asked recently about Ascend Elements' growth in Europe. Increasing demand from global customers and new regulations in the EU are among the most compelling reasons. "Many of our customers are global in nature. They have a need for circularity of critical battery materials, not only in the United States, but also in Europe." Really good post AE I guess Sodium Ion is done before it starts as we all suspected. Its not as easy to recycle and recover batteries and create easily saleable commodities as you hear! Of course we at LSL had this capability since 2023. Now we have all the required new permits to future proof our operations we look forward to working with great companies such as Ascend to keep that supply of high value powers in the loop. We will focus on the UK battery wastes in all sectors and look forward to being part of a true UK circular economy. Watercycle Technologies let’s go 😎

Does this mean that Ascend Elements intends to recycle Black Mass in Europe? It is likely that Ascend Elements will export secondary raw materials such as Black Mass from Europe to the USA for processing into cathode active material.
