I think building a business is much more than making money. It's truly a group where, you know, I don't have to pretend or bring any kind of reservations. So it's just wonderful. I'm here to play some games, so let's go with it. My name is Nikhil Jain and I'm part of the Aspire Trust Group. My name is Shivani Agarwal. I am the co-founder and CEO at localbus.com. My name is Ajit Panikar, I'm the CEO for Nova HVAC system and founder for Pure Blue Technologies. If you could go back and restart your business. What would you do differently? I would do one probably different changes is instead of you know, taking external help a little bit later, I would try to do that a little bit before because that would help us to grow and to where we are today, probably 2 years earlier. But that's about it because every other thing that we have done, I'm super proud of our journey. The strangers advice you have received about entrepreneurship, there's quite an interesting question you know I've been told about. As an entrepreneur, when you build a business under any circumstances, it is all about making money and you should scale and under at any cost. You should build a big business and profit is the only motive. However, that is one of the advisors that I don't follow. Because I think building a business. Is much more than making money. The amount of money you make is just about the yardstick that measures your success in building an enterprise. So the question is your go to way for motivating your team. So yeah, go to way is to give a real aspirational goal or a target. And from there we start to work to prepare how we are going to reach the target, how we're going to reach our goal. And that's that's something that we do let's say on an annual basis at least. So that's what I do.
Entrepreneurship isn’t just about building businesses it’s about building lives, communities, and legacies. Platforms like ASCENT remind us that true success lies in creating value, inspiring others, and driving meaningful change. Profit, while financial in its immediate sense, serves as the fuel that powers innovation, sustains growth, and amplifies impact. It’s not the end goal, but a critical enabler for creating a ripple effect of positive change.
