I'd appreciate a discussion how China is impacting global supply chains with its industrial policies such as Made in China 2025 and how all of this is shaping the 10 trends.

AI in supply chain holds great potential, but its widespread push feels kinda premature when the majority lack the understanding or even the infrastructure to really apply it. It’s becoming more like a buzzword.

Alexandra Gouville - great question. We can speculate... Think back of say the 2nd hype cycle around Blockchain. It's been a, well, hype. This is different with AI. But I think the B2B companies don't make much noise about it. That's maybe one. Second could be: let's look at where the big money flows. And then it would be no surprise AI is on top of the list. Surveys say most companies don't even have a decend approach to experimenting with AI in day2day practice. 77% of cases people use their private ChatGPT accounts for company use. That alone is an unsolved issue...

I agree on Augmented AI, however the data behind it is not there for heavy duty and this requires cleansed master data catalogs with cross references that in some industries do not exist yet

Where does recycling, sustainability fit in this spectrum? In some situations, we do not have an end user as much as a cyclical situation where the end product is recycled. There still is so much waste product. How do we change this beyond saying we need to recycle?
