What an atmosphere at Leeds Pride parade today! Over the summer #asda colleagues have taken part in Pride parades up and down the country, and in our stores we’ve proudly been wearing t-shirts designed by colleague Drew Nicholls which have also been on sale to customers. I’m proud that for the fourth year running we’re supporting the charity Diversity Role Models with a percentage of the sales from our George at Asda Pride range supporting their incredibly important work helping schools to end LGBQT+ bullying. We want every colleague and customer to know #asda is a safe and welcoming place to shop and work, packed full of amazing people, and as our t-shirt says; “love is love” and we should always celebrate that wherever we find it ❤️ Huge thanks to Charlotte Gardiner the mastermind behind this year’s campaign, and to Octavia Chappell and Jennifer Poulter who worked with passion to make it happen.
