With the welding required on round parts, the two-axis manipulator enables a part to be rotated to any required position. The parts also require different welding angles. Arc welding and other related processes are used extensively throughout transportation, construction, and industrial equipment manufacturing. For decades, Kawasaki has developed new metal fabrication processes that lead to improvements in arc welding technology, techniques, and quality. In today's real world application video, Nordica Sterling demonstrates robotic welding of a steel pallet rack using a hashtag#KawasakiRS020N to pick and place the part, and two hashtag#KawasakiRS010L to perform arc welding.
