My thoughts on the F1 2024 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is up on my blog! 🏁 Red Bull are definitely looking a lot more vulnerable to those behind, and if they want as comfortable of a season as last year, more steps need to be made to the car 👀 Check out more of my thoughts below and let me know what you think!

The 2024 Chinese Grand Prix Tech Magazine is out! 📖 The Chinese racetrack confirmed once again Aston Martin's gap between qualifying and the race. This week, Fulvio Conti and I analyzed the reasons behind this gap as it is something that has been going on since the beginning of the season. As for Alpine, there are small encouraging signs with the new upgrade package but their lack of organization and communication between the different departments is affecting their performances. If you want to know more about it, you can find the full article at the link below 👇 #F1 #ChineseGP #AstonMartin #Alpine

Once again the margin of error or lack of it in F1 just shocks me, the Italian GP | Monza was fine but check this out for qualifying. The pole position went to Lando Norris with a time of 1:19.327 Zhou Guanyu was 20th place (aka Last Place) with a time of 1:21.445 - First Place = 1:19 Last Place = 1:21 Delta. = 0:02 The reason I post this here is twofold: 1. You think your KPIs have a small margin of error 2. Never give up, sh*t happens and suddenly you are on Pole Position https://lnkd.in/gY4cXcTX

In my latest article, I took a deep dive into Formula 1‘s current expansion focus and why a fourth race in the United States is not on the cards at the moment. Also what does it mean for Europe? 🤔 #F1 #Formula1 Read the full article here ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/eh-Qt_gt

Two things I enjoy: F1 racing, and Excel But whether you're an F1 team 🏎 , or a stretched thin IT team, using Excel to track inventory can be time-consuming, error-prone, and limits your potential for visibility into your setup. This would be like trying to beat Max Verstappen with a horse and carriage 🥴 Check out this quick read about how IT teams can effectively track their network inventory with Lightyear https://lnkd.in/ep5BJY_y

Came across an interesting fact about F1 drivers ⬇️ Sharpening cognitive skills and enhancing reaction times under pressure is pivotal when racing. Ultimately, having the ability to analyze past performances, understand mistakes and adapt quickly is what separates good drivers from great ones. This goes to show the training and preparation that goes into F1 racing.

The 2024 Australian Grand Prix Tech Magazine is out! 🎉 On the Albert Park circuit, we saw that, especially during qualifying, the Aston Martin was sliding. In this article Fulvio Conti and I talked about this phenomenon and how to solve it by changing the rear suspensions setup. Alpine, instead, finds itself in a delicate situation as the team has to rebuild a car whilst facing internal problems. For this reason, it is likely that the upgrades will not come soon, so for now they have to maximize every performance. If you want to know more about it, you can find the full article at the link below 👇 #F1 #AusGP #AstonMartin #Alpine

I was watching the F1 Montreal race yesterday. George Russel was in second trying to overtake Max Verstappen for the lead. He missed the execution and actually lost second place to Lando Norris. This can only be speculation, but it seemed like he was so focused that on overtaking and being in first that he lost sight and therefore his attention on what was most important. Whether that be the correct strategy for overtaking, being in the right place on the track, or any number of things. There are so many moving parts, at such high speeds in F1 it’s hard to say what the right place and the right time to focus attention is. However, I can say one thing. Focusing on the person ahead of you and the place you are not in is likely the wrong place to focus when you’re trying to execute a precise and accurate maneuver.
