What You Didn’t Know About Augusta National Golf Club? (The US Masters, April 11-14, 2024) Cheapest tickets for each of the three practice rounds are going for just over $1,200 with individual day tournament passes starting between $2,000 and $2,500. The 4-Day pass gets you access to all four of the tournament rounds. Membership is strictly by invitation: there is no application process. In 2004, USA Today published a list of all the current members. Membership is believed to cost between $100,000 and $300,000 and annual dues were estimated in 2020 to be less than $30,000 per year. Masters tickets are considered the second-hardest to obtain in sports, trailing only the Super Bowl. Tickets — or badges — are cheap if you are lucky enough to be a patron or win the annual lottery which opened on June 1. If you don't get tickets directly from Augusta National, be prepared to spend thousands. Augusta National Golf Club is a private club and is only accessible to club members and their guests. The public may visit the course only during the Masters Tournament and only with the proper ticket or badge.

There is big money on the line in the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) next year. ⛳ 📈 The LPGA has just announced its schedule for 2025, which features more than $131 million in prize money across 35 events. ⛳ The LPGA will celebrate its 75th anniversary season next year and is the world's longest-running women's professional sports organization. 📈 The 2025 season's $131 million prize fund marks an increase of more than $62 million (90%) in four years. 💰 Prize money for non-majors will total over $83 million, up from $45.8 million in 2021. The four major tournaments will feature more than $47 million in total prize money. The financial growth comes at a time where stars like Nelly Korda - who, with a victory at last weekend's The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican Golf Club, just became the first American woman since 1990 to win seven events in a single season - are driving more and more eyes to the sport. Nelly could exceed $8 million in total on-course earnings this season with a victory in the CME Group Tour Championship this weekend, where the winner will take home $4 million.

Excited to have a LIV Golf event so close to home. I have been to both PGA and LIV events, here's my opinion. Most times.... LIV events are more entertaining whereas PGA events are more professional (unless its the Waste Management) I think it also depends on what you define as entertaining. For me, the Masters is the most entertaining tournament but its due to the tradition of the event. If you enjoy a tournament that will have fireworks on the first tee, dance music all over the course, drone shows, and an overall party atmosphere then LIV is your answer. I recommend LIV events for people who are just diving into the sport. Overall the main differences lie in tournament formats, financial structure, approach to the sport, etc. The PGA Tour is rooted in tradition and whereas LIV Golf positions itself as a more exclusive and financially rewarding alternative.
