New Program Alert! "Women Economic Justice in the Digital Economy" (WEJDE) Program! We are delighted to announce the launch of the WEJDE program, aimed at promoting economic justice and digital inclusion for 1000 women in trade, entrepreneurship, and the informal sector. This initiative addresses the digital divide and financial inequalities that hinder women from reaching their full potential in the evolving digital economy. Through WEJDE, we will: 📊 Provide technical assistance on e-commerce and digital tools 🌐 Promote gender-inclusive technologies and digital literacy 📢 Advocate for policies supporting women’s economic justice 📈 Facilitate access to online markets and enhance supply chain management The project is implemented in partnership with @AydiaGenderTech and Youth for Tax Justice Network. Understanding the Stigma The Invisible Barrier: Understanding the Stigma Faced by Formerly Incarcerated Women Reentering society after #incarceration is #challenging, but one of the most difficult obstacles for #women is the #stigma that follows them. This #invisible barrier impacts their ability to secure #jobs, find stable #housing, and rebuild their lives. Stigma perpetuates the idea that their past defines their future, making it hard for them to reintegrate into society with #dignity. At Agape Seed Fellowship, we work with #women who have made mistakes but are committed to turning their lives around. Yet, their journey is often met with closed doors due to the lingering perception of their past. Society can be quick to #judge, but we believe that everyone deserves a #second #chance to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to the #community. It’s crucial to break the silence around the stigma and start creating pathways for these #women to #succeed. By addressing the stigma head-on, we can change narratives, shift #mindsets, and open #opportunities for those who are ready to reintegrate with purpose.
