Brian spells it out and I do not disagree with the analysis presented. The key insight into Trump 2.0 is around the 8:50 mark. "Commitment of American lives or dollars abroad must be met with benefits" US Military Power will be available for "rent" to those who pay protection money. This fits. All bases in climes which cannot pay will be closed. That is the natural corollary. Australia will be asked to pay and pay much more that it currently is. So will Japan, South Korea and NATO countries. This is the price of subservience. This is because our political class are sucks with no common sense. It is also because Australia has the ability to pay. Provided tribute is forthcoming we will be considered a model #VassalState. The Australian people seem docile enough to accept such nonsense. Constitution Day is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. It is normally observed on Sept. 17, the day in 1787 that delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the document in Philadelphia. One of the important principles provided by the U.S. Constitution is civilian control of the armed forces. The principle of civilian control of the armed forces and the military's norm of nonpartisanship are bedrock features of democratic governance. While military service members are encouraged to exercise their basic rights as citizens, such as voting, those on active duty face a number of restrictions regarding their political activity. The politics of #Trump as the new-old American president involve both #fixed and #variable elements. Nobody can predict what President #Trump’s next move will be. The only constant in the phenomenon of #Trumpism is his approach; he thinks and behaves more like a #businessman than a political #professional. His actions are heavily influenced by the #military and #economic power of the #USA vast empire, which extends its influence to every corner of the world. I and many others will highly anticipate what is the situation regarding the uncompleted #Abraham deal which involved 🇺🇸, 🇮🇱, and 🇲🇦, especially concerning the #Western_Sahara occupation and the future effects on the northwestern Africa region.

In their recent article with International Security, Luis L. Schenoni (Lecturer at our Department of Political Science and Director of the Security Studies Programme) and Raul L. Madrid (UT Austin) analyse how South America went from the most politically violent region in the world in the nineteenth century to a relatively stable one by the turn of the twentieth century. They show strengthening the military and security forces was imperative for deterring and combating domestic political violence, as well as ensuring the effective monopoly of legitimate force by the states within the region. On this 80th anniversary of the D-Day invasion to rescue Europe from evil, this call to awareness and action from Kentucky’s senior U.S. senator should be read and re-read.
