We have stories of impact to share for days. And how beautiful it gets to have partners who trust us to design and deliver impact projects on their behalf. Late 2022, just after we convened the first Ogbomoso Digital Economy Summit, Oluwatosin Niyi Abiri introduced us afresh to Oluseun Onigbinde who had been wanting to do impactful work in Ogbomoso but had not found the right partners to help make it possible. Being a busy executive and sought-after conference speaker, his schedule didn't allow for any extra project that would require him to be hands-on. That was where we came in. We proposed a number of projects including the Second Career Tech Fellowship which became the final choice. From programme design to rolling out of applications to Fellow selection to brand and curriculum design; from facilitator recruitment to opening ceremony to in-class management to community management to project presentations and the closing ceremony; we handled it all. In Q2 2023, we commenced the programme and 60 Fellows who were already on diverse career paths came in the door with dreams. Over 3 months, they braved the odds of juggling their work and this new adventure they had embarked on. Despite the unfamiliarity of the terrain and the difficulty of the journey, 45 Fellows successfully completed the programme. Some fellows have gone to on successfully transition into tech careers through paid employment while some have infused tech into their previous careers whereas some have kickstarted freelancing work on the side of their initial careers. Shout out to Funto Adesola, Esther Adekanmbi, Timileyin Arowosola for stewarding the OOF project! Partnerships for Impact rank high as one of the things we do best at Ennovate Lab and we've worked with some amazing partners over the years including AfriLabs, Partners Worldwide, Threefold Social Impact Foundation, DeepSpace Africa, Impact Hub Lagos, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Nigeria among others. And if you will like to have a conversation around how we could do some great work together, I am just a DM away.

At Modi, we want to get young people passionate about indigenous knowledge and innovations involved. we see this avenue as a niche for creating sustainable jobs especially in the rural and remote areas where opportunities are limited but natural resources are still in their purest forms. IK Innovation and commercialization is a growth node as youth are more savvy about digital platforms and can propagate winsome hubs using Data Driven Innovation links when capabilities are enhanced through partner skillsets argumentation. in that respect we can involve bogosi VDCs, academic institutions, embassies and high commissions, PTAs and NGOS. The possibilities are endless.

"From clicks to progress: youth digital pathways for sustainable development." I love this, its from just clicking to clicking with progress. This year international day, is being marked with the core business of the young people. As , a millennial, am really thinking of what kind of letter i would be writing to my younger self. Am learning greater lessons with digitalization something that that was now seen as a scary thing, now its being embraced for sustainable development, to make the world as one though a far. I have to say that, its exciting but still worring , that humans we are social beings but, digitilsation with increased need of virtual assistance, social media managers, many a people are opting to work from home, further isolating from the human connection. In this case, its so great that google , ALX among others that i know are having free digital education courses. At least am not left far, am a digital educator , and i love doing that with the younger generation, Easy to get and modify, at times i feel they can make a whole person out of internet. So , what's your take, how can the youth remain connected while having clicks to progress? #sdgs#youthday#clickstoprogress

✨ 2024: A Year of Impact, Innovation, and Incredible Opportunities! ✨ As I sit back to review this whirlwind of a year, I’m amazed, grateful, and, frankly, wondering when I even had time to sleep! From hackathons to boardrooms, bootcamps to international panels, 2024 was a year that stretched and strengthened me in ways I never imagined. Let’s take a walk down memory lane, shall we? 🚀 January & February The year started on a high note as I completed a transformative HR Tech Recruitment training, equipping me to meet the ever-evolving demands of tech talent acquisition. 🌟 March March was all about innovation and creativity: I joined The Omniverse Summit as a panelist/judge, where visionary startups pitched their Fintech ideas for possible investment. I also managed the E-Mobility Hackathon, a powerful collaboration between GFA Technologies and Oando Energy. Watching 12 brilliant finalists pitch their e-mobility solutions left us all buzzing about the future of sustainable transportation! 🤝 June Mid-year brought inspiration at LinkedIn Lagos, where I connected with like-minded professionals, soaked up insightful sessions, and left brimming with ideas to shape the future of work. 📚 July & August These months turned me into a certified multi-tasking ninja. I joined a rigorous PM/BA bootcamp, where I not only expanded my skills in Project Management and Business Analysis but also had the honor of delivering the valedictory speech for my cohort. To my delight, I received an award for resilience—proof that hard work and a little caffeine go a long way! And that wasn’t all: July I had a remarkable sit-down with the Honourable Commissioner for Youths and Social Development in Lagos State to discuss the LAGUP Project, an initiative by GFA Technologies in partnership with Wema Bank and Lagos State. Our mission? To train 100,000 Lagos youths in employability and tech skills. I graced the Tech Segment of Wake Up Nigeria on TVC, passionately advocating for technology’s role in empowering young girls. I joined the HiiL International JustInnovate panel, where we explored groundbreaking tech-driven solutions in justice. At the Global Tech Africa Summit 2024, I facilitated an Employability Masterclass. Imagine my surprise when I received an award for my session—talk about icing on the cake! 📊 September September was filled with purpose and prestige: I facilitated a session on Organizational Culture and Change Management during the Productivity & Business Growth Program, a Providus Bank partnership for SMEs. I was officially admitted as a volunteer with the Scottish Tech Army (STA), I will be working on project for their charity partners. It’s been an incredibly rewarding experience to use my skills for a meaningful cause. ...Continued in the comment section...

Digital divide is more than just a #technology gap; it’s a barrier to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity. In rural areas, limited digital literacy skills and internet access leave millions behind in the race towards a connected future. Initiatives such as digital upskilling, and #AI-driven innovations with offline learning tools are breaking down these barriers. These solutions demonstrate that innovation thrives when inclusion is prioritized. Join us in building a world where no one is left behind in the digital age. Access to technology is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. #InclusiveInnovation #TechForAll #NextStepFoundation ID: Image of young people with diverse ability backgrounds, showcasing inclusion and the power of technology to bring people together.

The Beta Generation, often referred to as "Generation Beta," typically encompasses those born from the mid-2010s to the mid-2020s. This generation is characterized by its unique upbringing in a world increasingly dominated by technology, social media, and global connectivity. Children of the Beta Generation are expected to be digital natives from birth, growing up with advanced technology such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and the Internet of Things woven into their everyday lives. Their experiences will likely be shaped by rapid technological advancements, shifting social norms, and the effects of climate change and global events that define their formative years. Education for the Beta Generation may focus more on personalized learning experiences, leveraging technology to cater to individual learning styles and paces. Furthermore, their social interactions will likely be influenced by online platforms, shaping their communication skills and relationships in ways that differ significantly from previous generations. As they grow, the Beta Generation is anticipated to advocate for social justice, environmental sustainability, and mental health awareness, reflecting the values instilled by their predecessors and the challenges they face. Their perspectives and priorities will be crucial in shaping the future landscape of society, technology, and global relations.
