These are the faces that inspire me every day. Students like Priscilla, Inez, Miguel, and Alan show incredible resilience, overcoming challenges like foster care, homelessness, and anxiety. They remind me what’s possible when given the right tools and support. At Sharefest, we don’t just help students get by—we empower them to thrive. This video captures the heart of what we do, and it’s one of the most impactful stories we’ve ever shared. I hope it inspires you as much as it inspires me. Here’s how you can help: - Donate: Your support fuels mentorship, career prep, and college guidance for over 500 students a year: https://shorturl.at/yYmfC - Partner with Us: Hire, provide an internship or mentor our students and invest in the next generation of talent. - Volunteer: Join us for mock interviews or other student engagement opportunities. Together, we can break cycles of poverty and transform futures. Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible. If you’d like to learn more or get involved, let’s connect. #Sharefest #YouthEmpowerment #Breakthroughs #CareerConnections #NonprofitWork

Please donate to this amazing, local non-profit before 2024 ends! Your donation helps far more students experiencing developmental disabilities in post secondary to reach their dreams! With high tuition costs, access to higher education goals impact populations of folks who experience poverty most acutely. This includes #Indigenous #Metis and #FirstGeneration #PostSecondaryStudents #Immigrants #Refugees and more. Through the Integrated Post Secondary Society's invaluable programs, students' access to these dreams come to fruition. In addition, when we bring up the topic of inclusion, it involves seeing the barriers students face, outside of their student identity as pieces to be considered when we talk about support. The costs of being a post-secondary student in this country AND province are enormous. Food and housing insecurity are other considerations that need to be addressed and to provide enhanced access to. How are we tangibly supporting all aspects of student life, in order for students to not only survive, but also to thrive? Both surviving and thriving as a post secondary student are equally important. Donate today! #Inclusion #Access #TuitionAccessIsInclusion #IPSESA #PostSecondary #SurvivingAndThriving
IPSESA's work is truly transformational: together, we build more inclusive communities and support those with developmental disabilities in securing their rights to education and employment. What if one compelling story could unlock the generosity your church needs? Black churches have long been pillars of strength, community, and resilience, especially during social and economic hardship. They have been a haven for worship, a support system for the marginalized, and a platform for social justice. However, like many nonprofits, Black churches often face the challenge of securing sufficient funds to support their programs and initiatives. A powerful tool in this effort is the Case for Support—a compelling narrative that conveys a church’s mission, vision and needs in a way that inspires donors to give generously. With every practice, every bus ride, every coaching period, every prep session, and every meal between rounds, students have a unique opportunity to connect and build relationships. Many find a lifelong network in their teams. Beyond growing their debate skills, these connections foster collaboration, expose students to diverse perspectives, and provide a chance to form a community of like-minded individuals who inspire and support one another. Donate today to contribute to these transformative community experiences! 20 years of NAUDL, 20 years of debate, 20 reasons to give ✨ https://lnkd.in/gqxkzZxH

According to a report conducted by the Financial Health Network, just 10% of working-age people with disabilities are considered financially healthy. Those with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities are more likely to experience unemployment and under-employment than the average abled individual. A donation of $625 to FHI can fund our I/DD "Economic For Independence" Program for 15 people to teach them as well as their families, case managers, and advocacy groups to close the gaps of financial health understanding. We are currently working with Bayaud Enterprises, Inc. to provide financial health classes to their clients - help us continue serving our community by donating for CO Gives Day! https://lnkd.in/g98ihY9X

What better way to live with purpose than to give hope, support, and opportunities to those who need it most? Every skill shared, every moment of time volunteered, and every dollar donated creates lasting change in the lives of vulnerable families. We’ve seen incredible transformations: families moving into safe homes, communities empowered to grow their own food, and children discovering hope through education. Generosity fuels these stories, proving that giving truly is one of the most powerful ways to live with intention. Help us create even more impact. Follow our journey, share our stories, and join a global movement of purpose-driven change. #GivingBack #SocialImpact #TogetherWeCan #HumanitarianWork #INLK #InternationalNeeds #InternationalNeedsLK #InternationalNeedsSrilanka

Yea, today is the day where we are overwhelmed with appeals from organizations. It is an important day. But, supporting an organization, or a cause, is not just about what you give today, its about building better. A few days ago I re-posted an idea to rebrand non-profit organizations as social-profit organizations. This concept is ringing louder to me every day. The work of non-profit organizations- the staff, the funders, the beneficiaries-- is to create a better something: human, community, system, etc. Our society depends on these organizations. So, I encourage you to make a donation today and/or in the next couple of weeks. You have a lot of options and, personally, I would ask you to consider supporting, Foster Progress. With your support we empower more foster youth to beat the odds and succeed in higher education. Your donation helps provide: 📚 Scholarships for tuition and books 🤝 Mentors to guide students through challenges 🏫 Advocacy to navigate college systems You can donate here: https://lnkd.in/g4mzzANh
