📣 Last month, the European Roundtable for Beef Sustainability (ERBS) hosted their annual event in Poznan, Poland where members and partners came together to collaborate and share knowledge to help drive positive sustainability progress in the European beef industry. Some key highlights from the event: 🎯 2 days of collaboration 🎯 57 attendees from 28 companies across 10 European countries 🎯 24 expert speakers covered a range of perspectives including farmer, science, financial, policy and business and 6 European Platforms presented on their successes, opportunities/challenges and future plans. 🎯 2 farm visits to OSI McDonald’s flagship farm and ABP trial farm 🎯 1 film premier of World Without Cows , a Planet of Plenty® production by Alltech 🎯 3 panel discussions focused on: - Progress on GHG also relies on making progress on nature topics such as biodiversity - Taking a whole value chain approach is the way to accelerate progress on GHG action - Reaction to the World Without Cows film   🤝 Throughout the event, 3 words were echoed “Communication. Motivation. Australia can and should do more to advance food security in the Indo-Pacific region. With ubiquitous food price inflation and growing inequality of food access, governments are seeing food insecurity as a trigger for discontent and political instability. Climate change poses further threats to geopolitical stability and regional prosperity. But there are solutions. For decades, Australia has been a valued source of agricultural innovation. Productivity improvements have been realized in hostile physical environments characterized by variable and extreme weather conditions. Public investment through CSIRO, state agriculture departments, and universities – coupled with a vibrant agri-business sector – has contributed to Australia’s food export competitiveness. Internationally, Australia’s agricultural research community has established an envied reputation through the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR). Established in 1982, ACIAR has played a unique role in establishing and financing research partnerships between Australian institutions and national agricultural research organizations, mainly in the Indo-Pacific region. Pullet in laying hens is the future of production that morning's goal was to invite me to breakfast to talk about production.These traditional farms were successful and began to increase the population. There have usually been no eye-catching problems on this farm before. the results of his new chicken production does not make this Bos happy, and wanted to talk about it. before stepping onto the farm,I asked what happened or what changed. he said proudly, I started producing his own pullets. he produces it in an open house so the light is controlled by natural light. I stopped walking and explained.why the previous production was good,why is it not good now. The standard is that the previous pullet was purchased at 13 weeks of age, produced on well organized closed house. can produce chickens with standard body weight sexual maturity 90% done.cock's comb looks red and the same size, minimal 90%. he doesn't realize what I mean yet,I hastened my steps towards the new production house. as I expected, this happened. weight and lighting are two aspects major in producing pullets. If it is not followed, it will not release the genetic potential that the chicken carries. Never make your own feed if the knowledge and technology you had not allowed you to do it. My input is like that. If you want to produce your own pullets prepare everything, I will show you in video, if not, at least sexual maturity is not uniform. try therapy selenium plus vitamin E , antibiotics. my experience will be peak too but not optimal. in some cases it does not reach peak production I am sorry you will call out when production is around 70%.
