APPrO is pleased to see today’s final report and recommendations of Electrification and Energy Transition Panel (EETP) led by Mr David Collie. Minister Smith, and the Ministry of Energy and its agencies deserve congratulations for starting this work and bringing it to fruition. APPrO has been saying for some time that because Ontario has one of the cleanest grids in North America, our “clean energy advantage” can be a critical factor in reducing Ontario’s overall carbon footprint. We are pleased to see many of our recommendations, such an integrated long-term plan and the importance of clear and transparent objectives, to name a few, reflected in the final report.
