Leveraging Conversational AI Chatbots to Transform Customer Experience in Digital Banking. Conversational AI chatbots are reshaping the Online Customer Experience (OCE) in banking by enhancing engagement and personalization. A study with 459 banking users reveals that anthropomorphism, personalization, and control significantly boost OCE, while perceived risk decreases it. Importantly, customer experience (OCE) drives the likelihood of service recommendations, with a high predictive path coefficient (0.796). Chatbots effectively support banking services using NLP and machine learning, yet human agents remain vital for complex interactions.
