This time last week Susan and I were pleased to attend a nostalgic and joyful evening to celebrate LEAD Professional Development Association Inc 40 years of supporting the community sector.    LEAD provides training and development to community service practitioners who work tirelessly to support vulnerable children, young people and families.    I am proud to have been working with LEAD for 7 years, supporting their team and organisational growth. As I enjoyed the evening, walking down memory-lane as we remembered the decades and the organisation’s milestones, there were many familiar faces I enjoyed  reconnecting with including previous CEO’s (Catherine White, Kerry Palejs) whom I enjoyed working with and I felt proud to have been part of supporting the organisation over their journey.    Many of our clients over the years happen to be members of LEAD and many were in the room that night also and I enjoyed seeing every one of you as you are all inspiring and doing such valuable, important work in our communities everyday 💗 Ranna Peera Debra Toseni (who also received the "Recognition Certificate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advocate") 👏 Jhan Leach Linda Marsonet @meca-mtdruitt Rumbi Mabambe Julie Jasprizza-Laus (who also received the "Recognition Certificate for Professional Development Champion") 👏 Aster HR was proud to sponsor their recognition award for the Mentorship and Empowerment Leader in the industry and congratulations to deserving recipient Karen van Woudenberg 👏   Congratulations to current CEO Sharmily Nagarsekar who I am also proud to have known and worked with many years 😊 and the passionate LEAD team for their hard work and dedication 🎉 👏 Lisette Tyson Jagvir Singh Heather Callaghan Sadaf Khalil Bindi (Fiona) Markham-Moeller Sharon Sullivan
