According to recently finalized long-term tests regarding the degradation of the material in PowerGranules BIO, it's now concluded that particles created when using PowerGranules BIO are NOT considered microplastics, according to EU regulation 2023/2055. 💚🎉 - We are incredibly proud and pleased with the result. PowerGranules BIO is the first granule in the industry with proven degradability. It marks a significant advancement in the field of granule ware washing technology. Our efforts to further develop and enhance our granules continue, alongside our work with the Granule Technology machines where we aim to simplify handling for the users, says our CEO, Mikael Victor Samuelsson. Tests were carried out by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden under ISO 17556:2019 - biodegradability of plastics in soil. Results showed a degradation level of 94% in 24 months (90% required to pass).
