Do you regularly take work home with you? The long-term impact of #leaveism is often overlooked until it becomes a problem. Working a full day but continuing after hours and sometimes over the weekend, in most cases, can lead to burnout, mental health conditions, reduced productivity, and an increase in job dissatisfaction, resulting in job losses. It’s an area mostly overlooked by employers, but the prolonged impact can have a devastating impact on the company long term. #leaveism #workplacewellbeing #burnout #productivity Image by Bionic Image text: A man experiencing burnout sat by a desk and laptop at night.

You will not be able to change a toxic boss. Neither will HR. Here’s why: 1. They have been (and the workplace) has been like this for far too long. 2. HR can’t help you because they’re either too scared, too complacent or have already tried but failed to change them. 3. They will never see that they are the problem. Their ego is too big. 4. They eliminate anyone who tries to hold them accountable. 5. They face no monetary consequences for mistreating you, so why would they stop? 6. They don’t care that your mental health is suffering because of their actions. My advice? Get your exit strategy ready for 2025. It’s not running away. It’s just protecting your future. ♻️ Repost this. Let’s make the future of work safer.
