Strengthening Global Semiconductor Supply Chains Arizona State University, in partnership with the U.S. Department of State and the Southwest Advanced Prototyping (SWAP) Hub, hosted leaders from Costa Rica, Vietnam, and the Philippines for a Government Leaders Forum to tackle semiconductor supply chain challenges. As part of the CHIPS and Science Act's International Technology Security and Innovation project, the forum focused on workforce development and advancing assembly, testing, and packaging capabilities. SWAP Hub’s expertise in semiconductor innovation complements efforts to build resilience and capacity across global supply chains. With plans to expand ITSI initiatives to new nations in 2025, ASU and SWAP Hub are positioning Arizona as a leader in global supply chain diversification and workforce development.
