Imagine a young boy in a small town in Kerala, India, who was always fascinated by how things work. Whether it was disassembling his toys to see the gears and circuits inside or tinkering with his first computer, his curiosity was insatiable. This boy, who dreamt of creating something extraordinary, is standing before you today—I'm Fither Muhammed K B, a Senior IT Professional with a passion for innovation and leadership in the tech world.
My journey in technology began with a simple dream and a lot of curiosity. Fast forward to my college years, I pursued a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology. It was here that I was introduced to the fascinating world of programming and software development. I was captivated by the endless possibilities technology offered and knew I wanted to be at the forefront of this evolving field.
Upon graduating, I embarked on my professional journey with ER&DCI (C-DAC) in Trivandrum as a Research Engineer. Here, I dove deep into research and development projects, learning the importance of precision, innovation, and the drive to push boundaries. My hard work paid off when I received the Best Individual Award in 2000 for my outstanding contributions.
But my story doesn't stop there. Seeking new challenges, I moved to Synergy Infotech in Bangalore as a Senior Software Engineer. This role was a turning point in my career. I led the development of web and enterprise applications, ensuring that they met high standards of performance and quality. The joy of seeing a project come to life and the impact it had on clients was immensely rewarding.
In 2003, I joined Wipro Technologies Limited, a place that would become my professional home for the next 15 years. I started as a Senior Software Engineer in the Microsoft Business Unit and quickly rose through the ranks to become a Solution Architect. My time at Wipro was marked by numerous milestones and achievements. I spearheaded projects across diverse domains like aerospace, healthcare, and finance, managing global service delivery and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
One of the most memorable projects was for a major airline carrier. We were tasked with developing and restructuring their employee portal. This wasn't just about creating a new system; it was about transforming how employees interacted with their workplace. I led the team through requirement analysis, design, development, and implementation, ensuring that every detail was perfect. The project was a success, and the airline saw a significant improvement in employee engagement and satisfaction.
In another project, I served as the Technical Lead for developing applications for the energy and utility sector. Leading a team spread across different continents, we faced numerous challenges—from coordinating across time zones to ensuring seamless communication.
