The Air Transport Association of Canada (ATAC) is pleased to renew its support of future aviators by providing a $2000 scholarship to the Air Cadet League of Canada - National Office. Today, we attended the 2024 Flying Awards Ceremony (virtual) and are honoured to present the ATAC Award to Warrant Officer Jonathan Moi. Congratulations Warrant Officer Moi and our best wishes for a successful career in aviation!

Aviation is a small world indeed! ✈️ Back in July 2001, Andrew conducted a Final Progress Check on an RAF Cadet Paul as he completed his Flying Scholarship. Fast-forward to a few months ago, he had the pleasure of inducting that same person into an Instructing Team at Yorkshire Aviation Academy. And just recently, he flew a Boeing 737-300 to Ibiza with none other than the same man! Next time someone tells you a flight attendant's job is to serve drinks, show them this video and tell them J-Rutt sent you. I was privileged to serve with many fantastic flight attendants while flying at the 76th Airlift Squadron in Ramstein, Germany. According to the FAA, flight attendants are responsible for understanding how to perform the necessary tasks to ensure passenger safety. Their primary responsibilities are safety-related, and they are trained extensively in safety procedures and protocols to handle emergencies during a flight.
