It was an interesting conversation that I had with a human resources leader in healthcare last week. Sometimes it doesn’t cross our minds as I’m sure most industries deal with turnover, but when a hospital is constantly backfilling roles and then even more folks are quitting because of the stressors that come with being understaffed, what happens to the patients? We then showed them how PI compares candidates using assessments against the profiles of their most successful nurses, the hospital can identify candidates who are not only qualified also likely to thrive in the specific work environment. This tailored approach helps ensure better job fit, leading to increased overall satisfaction and reduced turnover. Curious would this be helpful at your organization?

Your team is drowning, and it’s costing you. Most healthcare execs I’ve spoken to say they support their nurses. They talk about “open-door policies” and “flexible hours.” Yet turnover is at an all-time high, and patients feel it. Why? Because surface solutions don’t fix deep-rooted problems. Here’s a hard truth: if you’re not actively creating pathways for growth, your nurses are leaving. They’re overworked, burned out, and craving respect as much as a paycheck. I’ve seen healthcare organizations do this right: Transparent Career Paths: Create a clear roadmap for advancement. Don’t leave your best talent guessing. Mentorship Programs: Pair senior and junior nurses to build skills and loyalty. Mentorship boosts morale and keeps experience in-house. Respect Through Action: Flexible scheduling is more than a buzzword. It’s a necessity. Teams need work-life balance that’s real, not just a talking point. When we implemented these changes in one facility, retention rates increased by 40%. Nurses felt heard, valued, and part of something bigger than a shift. Want to see this kind of transformation in your team? Are you a healthcare executive ready to face the truth? If you’re serious about transforming patient and employee satisfaction, send me a DM, and I’ll show you exactly how to make it happen.

💡 The key to recruiting impactful healthcare assistants In today's demanding healthcare landscape, finding the right healthcare assistants (HCAs) can profoundly influence patient outcomes. It's not just about filling positions; it's about recruiting individuals driven by compassion and a genuine commitment to care. So, how do you identify these exceptional candidates? Start by focusing on values and soft skills during the hiring process. Qualities such as empathy, resilience, and effective communication are pivotal. Ensure your interviews include situational questions that reveal how a candidate handles real-life scenarios — the way they respond can be quite telling of their capabilities. Training plays a critical role too. Offering comprehensive induction and ongoing professional development programmes ensures HCAs are well-equipped to provide top-notch care. But why stop there? Engaging in community partnerships, like collaborating with local colleges that offer healthcare courses, can also be fruitful. These relationships can help you tap into a pool of passionate and well-prepared individuals eager to step into these roles. Ready to transform your healthcare workforce with dedicated and compassionate HCAs? Contact us today to learn how we can support your recruitment needs! #HealthcareRecruitment #EmployeeEngagement #PatientCare
