Last week, quite a significant number of us were at the 3i Africa Summit and I'm sure most of us were all gingered up and motivated to put in the work into everything we were doing.
It's being a couple of days after the event and I'm here to ask you, how far? How far with the ideas you picked up from there? How far with the lessons you picked up?
How far with the new connections created? And these questions aren't only for individuals but also the institutions and heads who represented to dialogue and find solutions to Africa's problems? How far?
Are we still on course or the motivation has died down? Have you contacted that person you networked with and promised to get in touch to develop that idea?
You see the idea of attending events, meeting new people and gaining new perspectives is beautiful. However, real value lies in what we do afterwards.
It takes discipline and commitment to translate the above listed into actionable steps.
Without actions, attending events may just be another enjoyable experience without impact. So, seize the moment and maximize.
Good Morning and See you on the winning side.

The more I travel in Africa, the more I realise South Africa is African.
The more I travel the world, the more I realise Africa is just globalised and we’re all just doing what we’re doing.

Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera Mr president send fit diplomats in Tokyo. My clients complained about their laziness and send active ones .You should noticed they have gone ballooned like papayas.
I have advised African communities in Europe on organising events for Africa Day. Similarly, some African communities missions in Japan and Oceania have sought advice on event planning for Africa Day. I recommended they move away from traditional medieval dances and culinary exhibitions. Africa today is about technology and innovation.
I understand many community members have refugee backgrounds and haven't visited Africa recently to see the positive changes. Some feel offended by my advice, but I won't tolerate ignorance. Many still hold outdated views, thinking Africans sleep in trees and watch the moon as their TV.
It's crucial for ambassadors to organise events that showcase Africa's progress, rather than relying on outdated stereotypes. Unfortunately, many African diplomats, with the notable exceptions of those from Rwanda and Zambia, are inactive in Oceania and Asia. For example, Ghana has a consulate, but after six years, no one even knows what the consul looks like in Auckland. No one knows whether the consul is a zebra or a Lion.

South Africa's celebrated as the world's friendliest nation - no surprise there!
The news that we were crowned the "World's Friendliest Nation" by Remitly's survey has put a gigantic smile on my face. This is such a true reflection of who we are—a nation built on warmth and Ubuntu (humanity).
South Africa's magic is a beautiful mix. Yes, our landscapes are breathtaking and the wildlife incredible, but it's truly the people that make us special. We're known for our welcoming smiles, willingness to chat with anyone, and ability to bridge language barriers with our eleven official languages.
Whatever the reason, this "World's Friendliest Nation" title is an honour and a responsibility. It's a reason to keep spreading our warmth, not just at home but across the globe!
