It's uncanny when listening to high quality clinicians how often they come back to the basics in objective assessment when using technology. With force plates, it's nearly always good body weight measurement, quiet standing before start of movement and consistent cueing. It's no different with isometric testing, so before diving into testing with athletes and patients check out the differences between a good force trace and a poor one. I'm really proud that we've included this section in the Practitioners Guide to Isometrics (link here https://lnkd.in/gNHFQAb2). VALD Health and VALD Performance have made lab grade assessment technology accessible to all, but with that comes a great responsibility to ensure that the technology is properly applied.
