Absolutely true.. situation is same in every part of country. Being at receiving end candidates surrender to the situation anticipating selection and joining. Some FOOLISH practices like asking detailed action plan from candidates has been introduced in selection process followed by no response / position on hold...Now the question arises ..as an interviewer if you are unable to identify candidates after 3-4 rounds and you cannot reach conclusion ..this shows inefficiency of concerned dept head/ interviewer and a big ? On their skill which needs thorough review
It's been noticeable issues specially in West Bengal(Kolkata) not sure about other metro cities. Organizations are finalizing with experienced candidates with 3-4rounds of interview and after the final discussion of Office time, Venue each and every details, suddenly, they stop processing. When candidates try to connect with the management for Offer letter, then they will be informed that they are not been selected. Such unethical and unprofessional practices are been noticed.

My reply tO her...::: But as you yourself have mentioned you are exploring yourself...!! if you really do always remember... Rejection is a part of the process, you will be accepted by whom who vibes with you..!! No response is also a normal thing, don't limit yourself, keep applying, giving interviews etc, again you will be hired by those who feel you most eligible for their post. Asking regarding salary is not a sin or illegal thing, always apply where they disclose the package, if they say we will let you know in the interview, don't go forward with them if they don't disclose the salary range in 1st round...!! This attitude will eventually distroy you:: "jab auqat na ho dene ki....tu expectations bhi itni high rakhne ka koi haq nahin tumhain...." If the package is not as per your expectations, don't apply or if they disclose the salary in 1st round and you feel like underestimated, state ot forward that I expect more, don't just say it back it up with a thorough Market research..!! its not only your CV bt your attitude that gets you hired.. while exploring yourself .. learn about attitude management also...!!

I recently had an experience with an HR representative, #Ujjawal, from BayOne Solutions, which left me questioning the professionalism in recruitment. After an initial call he happily assured me my profile would proceed to the next round and that he will send JD, I waited for the job description. He had me call him 5 times followed by the same assurance that he is moving forward to the next round and sending JD, until he finally showed his true colors saying that my experience and profile didn't match the requirements. When I asked for specifics, he could not answer and changed his reason This time, he said it was because of my MTI (Mother Tongue Influence)—and that they don’t hire candidates with MTI. I was shocked. Why hadn’t he mentioned this earlier? When I asked him directly, he had no answer but tried to pretend modest as if he didn't want to hurt someone by saying that. It wasn’t the rejection that disappointed me but the lack of transparency. Honest, upfront communication would have saved us both time and frustration. He wasted my entire day. It’s ironic that someone who struggles to communicate clearly and effectively is in a position to judge others while causing unnecessary disruptions in their lives. To recruiters: Respect your candidates' time and efforts with clear communication and stop ghosting. #JobSearch #Recruitment #Transparency #Professionalism
