"A recurring theme in discussions was the critical challenge of workforce efficiency and skill gaps. While many technologies aim to transform construction, only a select few truly empower workers directly on the ground." Well said, Moshe Dalman!
I recently had the privilege of attending the BuiltWorlds Venture East conference in Boston and the Suffolk Technologies Boost event, and both were extremely inspiring! These events brought together Construction Tech minds to explore the challenges and innovations shaping the future. It was a pleasure connecting with amazing teams like Suffolk Construction Tech, Infrastructure Ventures, Building Ventures, Caterpillar Inc. Ventures, FYLD, and so many others. A recurring theme in discussions was the critical challenge of workforce efficiency and skill gaps. While many technologies aim to transform construction, only a select few truly empower workers directly on the ground. RODRADAR’s Live Dig Radar® system stands out as a true "front end" solution, equipping crews with real-time tools to avoid underground utility strikes—enhancing safety and productivity. We at Rodradar believe that “front end” solutions have a significant role in changing the future of the construction industry and are planning to be a big part of this change. Huge kudos to the Venture East team for organizing such a professional and impactful event. Already looking forward to the next one! 🙌 #ConstructionTech #livedigradar #BuiltWorlds

Fellow Young Engineers, Yesterday morning, I lost my most valuable asset. As I walked into the office, the energy was different. Everyone I met had warmth, smiles, and genuine embraces. I was a bit confused. The office was beautifully decorated, welcoming, and almost impossible to ignore. This took my attention, effortlessly. Normally, I guard my attention like a treasure with focus. But yesterday, the admin staff broke through my defenses. I didn’t think much of it then, but as I wrote to you this morning, it hit me. It was Customer Service Week. What stood out for me was the effort the staff had taken to ensure the office looked so beautiful, appealing and welcoming. Their faces were beaming with happiness and embrace. I believe they felt very proud of their work hence drawing a sense of fulfillment. Such is the power of altruism and service. It opens our hearts and makes the world a bearable place. A place for all of us to live in. I actually forgot I had work troubling my mind and ended up embracing them. The lesson from this is service and altruism is the core fabric of humanity. It connects our hearts, minds and souls. This is why at RoadsHub, we emphasize the need for #TheUltimateEngineers to serve one another. The Captains lead the way. We all learn like we are going to teach it to someone else. This creates a pool of experts who continuously share knowledge and expertise. It ignites creativity, and questioning hence exploring different approaches to problem-solving. Such is our way of life, the way of #TheUltimateEngineer

🎢 The ups and downs of a start-up 🎢 After all our "hey-ho-here-we-go" posts over the last few weeks, we find ourselves in the next dark valley on the journey of a start-up 🌑 A full commissioning of the system had been done, a full pressure test been performed, and as all the excitement is reaching its peak - 💥 BOOM 💥 our map no longer matches the terrain, and we hit a 🔞 restriction 🔞 which is too narrow for our equipment to move through. The faces of Oda and Endre says it all in the picture below. The frustration, annoyance and demotivation all summarized in a photo. Luckily we are working with a client whom believes in out technology 💕 , and we have agreed on a path forward, allowing us to start-up again as soon as the 📅 calendar 📅 says August, with modified equipment optimized to pass the restriction encountered. The dedicated team at Sandcatch will spend the summer 🏝 in front of the drawing board optimizing the equipment, and we are so thankful to our suppliers, whom will produce the parts needed in this period, allowing us to start-up again, according to the revised plans. So with this, we wish you all a very merry, warm and enjoyable summer 🌅 and encourage you to follow us on the next chapter of this 🎢 roller coaster 🎢 journey. #rollercoasterjourney #lifeofastartup #fromexcitmenttodissappointment #biogas #innovation #technologydevelopment 📸 Trygve Husveg

Thanks for your attention, LinkedIn community! Isn’t it ironic? After 4 years of enjoying the engineering journey, we step into the real world, only to find ourselves filling out applications, chasing MNC opportunities, and dreaming big. But giving up? That’s not in our DNA. 💪 We restart, relearn, and keep applying, no matter the outcome. Engineering taught us resilience, adaptability, and the value of continuous learning. Whether it’s mastering new skills or improving our daily work, we strive every day to build the life we dream of. Because that’s what engineering is all about: never stopping, always evolving. 🚀 #huron #teamhuron #grantthornton #engineerlife #engineer

🌍 #StartwiththeEndinMind#🌍 At the year's first church service, the sermon "Start with the End in Mind" (Matthew 25:14-28), centered on the parable of the talents, inspired reflection on our role as professionals in the built environment. As professionals, our skills, knowledge and expertise are talents entrusted to us. How often do we consider the end-of-life (EOL) for the buildings we design and construct at the early stages? Just like the parable, our choices today shape tomorrow's legacy. Much is expected of us. How do we steward the opportunities in front of us? How do we ensure sustainability, resilience, and purpose in our work? Let’s make the most of every opportunity, designing with foresight and responsibility, and ensuring our talents are well-invested for a greater reward. That every design, every project, and every material serve a purpose beyond its initial use. #NewYearThoughts #BuiltEnvironment #Sustainability #Reflection

Ever wondered why the Golden Gate Bridge is universally admired, beyond its engineering marvel? This iconic structure isn't just a feat of advanced engineering or a vital transportation link. It represents something far greater: the power of vision, resilience, and unity. Constructed during the Great Depression, it served as a beacon of hope and a testament to what we can achieve when we come together, even in the face of economic despair. The choice of its striking International Orange color was not just for visibility; it was a bold statement of creativity and individuality, reminding us that in a sea of conformity, standing out has its value. The Golden Gate Bridge is more than a bridge. It's a lesson in leadership, courage, and the endless possibilities that come from dreaming big. Let's not just admire this marvel for its physical beauty or the technical prowess it took to build it. Let's see it as a symbol of what humanity can accomplish with vision and collaboration. Feel inspired? Share your thoughts on what this iconic structure means to you.

The planet’s largest living structure has an important lesson for every changemaker - a simple shift can trigger a chain of positive results. Just as a single coral polyp can spark the growth of an entire reef, nature shows us the power of exponential change. Their ever-expanding and self-sustaining architecture ensures that every change in the ecosystem creates ripples of change all along the reef. If we look closely, designing solutions to our social problems can also follow the same pattern. By adopting nature's blueprint, we can evolve our strategies to be as dynamic and interconnected as the ecosystems around us. Where else do you see Exponential Change in action? Let us know in the comments! #exponentialchange #thinkexponential #socialimpact #nature #ecosystem

"Ants, termites, and the blueprint of success The astonishing world of ants and termites reveals a blueprint for success through specialization, resilience, and unmatched collaboration. By studying these societies, numbering in the millions, we learn how clear purpose and exceptional engineering feats lead to survival and prosperity. This essay explores how mimicking these natural strategies can lead to monumental achievements in business, much like the cohesive forces driving Google's success. #TeamworkInNature #BusinessStrategies #InnovationInspiredByNature https://lnkd.in/eTAMxENu "
