Often we hear new or potential clients say they don’t need drawings and we’ll be asked if we can we take them out of our proposal. I get it, from the other side of the table it may seem to take billable time and doesn’t seem necessary - a good place to “cut the fat.” But it’s quite the opposite. The thing is, the drawings aren’t really for our clients, though we do give our clients all of our design drawings. The drawings are for us and for our installers. How will we even know what size chandelier to source, what size artwork to select, or how wide we want the floating shelves, if we don’t draw them out first? Often in this drawing stage, we uncover obstacles like dropped soffits, oddly placed electrical panels, etc. and we need a to build our design strategy before we start picking out items that won’t fit, right? The drawings make our selection process 10x more efficient, because we are giving ourselves the roadmap we need to follow. We’ll save ourselves 10x the trouble on the backend if we do the front end of our process properly. (Which saves you time and money too.) Plus, our clients really do get excited when they see our first iterations of the drawings. Being able to see the vision and trust that whatever we source to “fill in the pieces,” will work out, is invaluable. Expensive mistakes will be avoided and everyone will be happy, which is our aim! #interiordesign #colorado #denverinteriordesign #mountaininteriordesigner #interiordecor #homedesign

Working with a designer? Always, always, always order samples first. The last thing you (or we) want is to fill a large order of flooring that doesn't work with your building. Wondering if the lighting will reflect well on the floor? Not sure if the color on your screen is accurate? Thinking of installing an inviting pattern? Want to make sure the texture of the floor is safe for your residents? Need to match paint and color schemes? Order a sample! Our team is happy to pack them up and send them to you and work alongside your designer too. When in doubt order a sample. DM us to schedule a consult or order a sample! #CommercialFlooring #PropertyManagement #HealthcareConstruction

I've been tinkering away with Substance Designer and crafted a procedural material specifically for creating pavement tiles. It's been a fun and rewarding process, and I'm thrilled with the results. Here's what this material brings to the table: 🎨 Diverse Patterns: With 9 common patterns included, users also have the flexibility to input their own tile-able pattern, ensuring it suits the project perfectly. 💡 Fine-Tuned Control: Adjust parameters such as imperfection types and intensities, roughness, and choose from three edge bevel options to get that precise look. 🌈 Colour Customization: Set primary and secondary colours effortlessly, along with imperfection colours, and even colour tiles based on a black-and-white mask for added detail. 🏞️ Versatile Applications: Whether it's for footpaths, open ground, parking spaces, or any other area where tiles are used, this material has it covered. I've found it incredibly handy for my own projects, and I'm excited to continue exploring its potential. #SubstanceDesigner #ProceduralMaterial #PavementTiles #DigitalDesign #PersonalProject

'How to care for signage?' our clients often ask. Our signs need minimal effort for various reasons. Firstly, quality materials do half the work for you, keeping their initial look for years. What is your part? Gentle cleaning. Just wipe signs when needed with appropriate agents. For wooden items: wipe with a dry, lint-free cloth. 👉 You can also use wax-based products that create a protective barrier and repel dirt. For steel items: use a lint-free cloth and mild cleaning products. 👉 Ensure a cleaner doesn't contain aggressive chemicals or abrasive particles. To avoid streaks, apply a minimum amount of cleaning agent. For acrylic items: use a smooth cloth and alcohol-based cleaner. 👉 Wipe off fingerprints to keep the surface shiny, but be careful not to rub too hard, as it can lead to scratches. As you can see, the main rule is: Don't try too hard; be gentle. Stick to these tips, and your signage will shine bright for years to come! #BSigne #signage #design #interiordesign #labels #woodsignage #customdoorsigns #prohibitorysigns #directioanalsigns #ADAsigns

Create Eye-Catching Displays: A lighted sign cabinet, also known as a lightbox or illuminated sign cabinet, is a type of signage designed to be illuminated from within. It typically consists of a metal frame or housing that holds a translucent panel. This displays the desired design, logo, text, or graphics. Inside the cabinet is a light source, often LED or fluorescent lights, that evenly illuminates the panel, making the signage visible and vibrant, especially at night or in low-light conditions. Lighted sign cabinets are used for business signage, advertising, and directional signs. They are versatile and can be mounted on walls, poles, or other structures. These signs are durable and weather-resistant, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use. #betterfromthetop #signs #signshop #customsigns #customsignshop #cabinets #illumination #illuminated #georgia #atlanta #signage #customsignage www.pcsatl.com

🌟Happy Tip Tuesday! 🌟 Switching between Single and Group Select modes is a breeze! Just click the icon in the Menu bar or use the Keyboard Shortcut: S. To edit an object in your drawing area, make sure it's selected first. You'll know it's selected when you see its yellow snap points and a selection frame around it. 💜 Single Select Mode: Selected objects have a purple frame. This is great for focusing on individual items, even if they're part of a group. 🧡 Group Select Mode: Selected objects are outlined in a yellow/orange frame. If the objects are automatically grouped (like walls, panels, or components), they’ll all be selected together. Remember, these colors help you navigate your design with ease! Didn't find the signage in the desired shape? You don't have to settle for what's in a catalogue. With us, you can go as wild as your imagination lets, choosing designs beyond what our website offers. What's the secret? We use precise laser machines to cut base materials of any shape with perfect accuracy and a neat finish. That means your custom signs aren't just about colors, sizes, and text descriptions. You can fulfil any design with the necessary features. For example, one of our clients requested sliding signs. We agreed on the design (check it out below) and crafted the layout to cut it out with the laser machine. That's the beauty of custom signage: you don't choose between options; you create them to meet your business needs. Our team is here to help you bring your ideas to life. #BSigne #signage #design #interiordesign #labels #woodsignage #customdoorsigns #prohibitorysigns #directioanalsigns #ADAsigns
