The tide is turning towards vocational training vocational training and this is the way forward. Germany put this model in place with the Vocational Training Act of 1969. Germany's dual system of vocational education and training is highly recognized worldwide due to its combination of theory in the classroom and training in a real-life work environment. While working there in 2005 I had the opportunity to witness the model first hand and it produces outstanding results. The German economy has the 3rd largest GDP in the world with a population rank of 19, now that's efficiency! Here's how they are doing it: https://lnkd.in/g3M4DPNW

Germany is considered highly favorable for individuals seeking educational, employment, or vocational opportunities. What aspects of the German system make it particularly advantageous for academic pursuits, professional endeavors, or participation in apprenticeship programs like Ausbildung courses? German Gyan Germany is known for its excellent education system, robust job market, and well-structured apprenticeship (Ausbildung) programs, making it an attractive destination for students and professionals alike. Here are some factors to consider for each option: 1. **Studies (University):** - Germany is home to many world-class universities offering a wide range of programs in various fields. - The country is known for its emphasis on research and innovation. - Most universities offer programs in English, making it accessible for international students. - Tuition fees are relatively low compared to some other countries, and there are also numerous scholarships available. 2. **Job Opportunities:** - Germany has a strong and diverse job market, with opportunities in industries such as engineering, IT, healthcare, finance, and manufacturing. - The economy is robust, and there is a demand for skilled professionals, particularly in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. - Knowing the German language can significantly enhance job prospects, especially in roles that involve direct communication with clients or colleagues. 3. **Ausbildung (Apprenticeship) Program:** - Germany has a well-established dual education system that combines practical training in a company with theoretical education in a vocational school. - The Ausbildung system is highly regarded and provides a direct pathway to entering the workforce with practical skills. - It's an excellent option for those who prefer hands-on learning and want to start their careers sooner. Ultimately, the right choice depends on your personal preferences, career goals, and educational background. If you're interested in academic research and obtaining a university degree, pursuing higher education might be the best fit. If you prefer a more hands-on approach and entering the workforce earlier with practical skills, an Ausbildung program could be a great option. If you're looking for job opportunities, Germany's strong economy and demand for skilled professionals make it an attractive destination for employment. Consider factors such as your field of interest, language skills, and long-term career goals when making your decision. #germangyan #nidhijain #EducationInGermany #CareerOpportunities #GermanJobs #AusbildungPrograms #StudyAbroad #ProfessionalDevelopment #GermanWorkCulture #InternationalStudents #CareerInGermany #SkillDevelopment

I dropped out of uni after 6 months - and here is why it's no biggie! Disclaimer: If you want to be a surgeon, lawyer or anything that could kill me, lock me up or save my life please stay in uni (much appreciated 🫶🏼) However, for the most part uni isn't as valued as much these days in comparison to onhands because its attainable and very much achievable in comparison to 20 years ago when it was a rarity for someone to go to university. In the early 2000's only 19% of people went to uni (usually the rich) Fast forward to 2024 and its now at 37.5% (the second highest on record) Taking it back to us as natural humans what are we always attracted to? Something that is different, shiny and new right? Not just this but in a world where we are developing faster, progressing faster and wanting results quite literally yesterday (yes I have experienced those managers too, don't worry) having that hands on, interpersonal skill base with a foundation of knowledge in the work space it usually preferred. Why? 1. It saves time with how much training is needed, more appealing to SME's. 2. Less likely to drop out of the role, they have already had exposure to the industry and work life. 3. They are use to being a grafter already from a young age and that working schedule. PSA: By all means I am not saying uni is bad or a waste of time because jesus is that s**t expensive and I has a huge amount of skill level - I take my hat off to anyone that sticks it out. However what I am saying is, its just not that deep and will not go against you if you don't want to go. What's our thoughts? Did you go to Uni or straight into work? #THEBeautyRecruiter #university #apprenticeships #workinglife
