Interesting and important food for thought! Having a solid foundation in chromatography is such a valuable addition to anyone venturing into any analytical-adjacent space in industry. I'd also add to this the importance of taking time to really look at the raw data...get to know your chromatograms!

The studies summarized in the first and third articles used an Agilent GC/MS. A 7890B/5977A system was used to detect and measure the volatile aroma and hazardous compounds in smoked meat. An 8890/5977 system was used to screen for chemicals of concern in water-based paints, while an 8890-FID was used for quantitation. #gaschromatography #gcms

This video will show you how to access the Gradient Optimizer. You will need to run two TLC plates using the same solvent but two different compositions. The UV sorter identifies, quantifies, classifies and ejects the fluorescent Spodumene bearing particles in a matter of milliseconds. In the video, you'll be able to see the pinkish fluorescence of #Spodumene in the free-falling rocks right before they are ejected to the product chute.
