I just killed her and her husband, with my own hands.”   – Intercepted cellphone call, October 7, from Hamas elite unit member One unanswered question is why Hamas members publicized their brutal murders of women, children, elderly persons and other civilians. The intent wasn’t to terrorize (as Hamas did intend later by publishing pre-execution videos of hostages). The October 7 conversations and videos were shared with other Gazans in celebratory fashion. But why? American Jews in particular remain in a condition of shock from the surge of antisemitism coming at them from this Islamist alliance. But this war is not only about Jews and antisemitism. It is about all Americans, including American Muslims who don’t want the Brotherhood to define their faith to the outside world. It would also provide a reason for Qatar to review its relations with both the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. President Biden recognized Qatar as a major non-NATO ally (a status given to 17 other countries), though Secretary of State Blinken in the past year has repeatedly asked Qatar to expel Hamas. Qatar says no, and that apparently is the end of the conversation. But after a terrorist designation of the Brotherhood, the conversation should be restarted – to avoid the prospect that Qatar could be designated a state sponsor of terrorism. Exiling Hamas might then become the low hanging fruit in the US-Qatar strategic dialogue.  For US immigration policy, the symbolic effect may be more important than its effect on numbers of Brotherhood members banned from immigrating. For instance, the great majority of imams at American mosques do not receive their professional training in the US but immigrate to the US under “special religious workers” visas from countries that have seminaries for training imams. After a Muslim Brotherhood designation, new scrutiny should be placed on those foreign seminaries to ensure new American imams are not educated in an institution affiliated with the Brotherhood. https://lnkd.in/gsVitctK

The Jewish council of Australia’s statement on May 28 regarding the massacres in Rafah. “Rafah massacre demonstrates urgent need to cut ties and sanction Israel.” “The Jewish Council of Australia renews our calls for the Albanese Government to use all possible diplomatic pressure to stop Israel committing the crime of genocide. Yesterday, an Israeli airstrike killed at least 45 people who were living in tents in the declared safe-zone of Rafah. The act is likely in breach of last week’s additional provisional orders of the International Court of Justice to immediately halt military operations in Rafah. This comes as the death toll from Israeli military actions in Gaza is increasing daily. In light of these developments, and the worsening conditions imposed on Palestinians in Gaza, and the West Bank, the Jewish Council of Australia calls on the Government to immediately cut all military ties and place sanctions on Israel. The Albanese Government must also place travel bans on extremist settlers and those suspected of war crimes. These actions would be in line with Australia’s obligations as a signatory to the Genocide Convention. Palestinians face death by Israeli assassinations, bombardment, forced famine, and deadly rampages by settlers in the West Bank. The images emerging today of Israel’s latest massacre in Rafah ought to force governments like ours to take concrete action. Australia must pay heed to these arrest warrants and the additional provisional measures ordered by the International Court of Justice and ensure that we are not complicit in war crimes and the crime of genocide. In particular, Australia must end its role in supplying weapons parts to Israel, and throw its weight behind a global arms embargo. Watching the absolute barrage of misinformation about Jewish people,Israel and Palestine is pretty tiring,as is watching the pro terrorist supporters causing havoc and daubing swastikas everywhere. The egregious pile on of antisemites pretending they don’t hate Jews,just Israel (spoiler alert:questioning the very right to exist of a country is unacceptable). The egregious pile on of woke social justice warriors who have decided murderous terrorists are the trendy cause to get behind from their misguided view of the world through a lens of oppressor/oppressed and because these supposedly intelligent people, including academics and school teachers, have no tools to search for their moral clarity and have decided that the massacre, rxpe and kidnapping of Jewish people (and others) in the only Jewish state in the entire world by a radical Islamic jihadist Nazi ideology is acceptable.(Spoiler alert,the chant from the river to the sea is a call for the complete destruction of the Jewish people and their only country,the only democratic country with all religions and skin colours in the Middle East,surrounded by 22 solely Muslim countries in the region). What does seem to be getting through to the West is the unverified Hamas fatality numbers (all women and children mysteriously and all accurately counted within minutes it seems),the omission that Gaza and the West Bank are self governed (badly),are not part of Israel and the only reason there are security controls and blockades,Iron Dome and bomb shelters is BECAUSE of decades of terrorism from these territories,the omission that Israel has offered land for peace multiple times which has been rejected each time because the sole purpose of the radical Islamist cause hiding behind their Palestinian human shields and supported and financed by the West,the Iranian Regime,Qatar,Russia,China and Turkey is to remove Israel,the omission that the United Nations and its agencies has been taken over by bad actors (to put it kindly) whose sole purpose is to undermine Israel,the lie that Palestine (the area) was a country before Yasser Arafat (an Egyptian) made up the concept at the behest of the Soviets to encourage pan Arab nationalism post 1967. How dare there be one Jewish state,formed by UN resolution no less,just like some of the Arab states in the region were formed,including Jordan who took over what was supposed to be Arab Palestine? How dare Israel defend itself against the worst massacre of Jewish people since the Holocaust?Why don’t they just let themselves be slaughtered?Would you allow the outrageous act of terrorism of October 7 to go undefended by your own country?The massacre that was joyously celebrated in Gaza and the West Bank? After the fall of the first Taliban regime in Afghanistan in 1996, many of them returned back to Bangladesh and formed the now-proscribed radical terror organisation Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). JMB marked the beginning of Bangladeshi violent extremism. JMB with its affiliated groups and individuals were responsible for multiple bombings, suicide attacks, and intimidation. In 2005, JMB carried out a series of bombings at nearly 500 locations across Bangladesh. Over the subsequent years, more terror organisations started surfacing in Bangladesh. Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT), which is also called Ansar al-Islam (AAI), ISIS, and al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS), also started operating inside Bangladesh and have recruited Bangladeshis to carry out terror attacks to create a global caliphate as well as an Islamic state in Bangladesh. These organisations targeted the free thinkers and bloggers within Bangladesh as well as carried out terror attacks on foreign nationals in Bangladesh, the most prominent one being the Holey Artisan bakery attack in Dhaka, which left 17 foreign nationals dead, including an Indian national. So it came as no surprise that ISIS flags surfaced among the protestors on the streets of Dhaka following the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government. Since her ouster, there has been a marked escalation in violence against minorities in Bangladesh. Reports indicate that there has been a significant increase in targeted attacks on non-Muslim communities, primarily against the Hindus. Vandalism and arson of temples, Sufi shrines, and other places of worship have also been reported. Videos on social media have emerged where the radical Jamaat-e-Islami members, while distributing relief materials among the minority Hindu community, are seen tearing away the sacred threads worn around the neck amidst radical Islamic sloganeering and cheering in the aftermath of floods Bangladesh is witnessing currently. The interim government led by Mohammad Yunus has largely failed to stop the violence against the minorities and has also made matters worse by lifting bans on radical Islamist groups and releasing terror suspects from jail that rule the roost on the streets of Bangladesh. This situation is reminiscent of the fact that Bangladesh, which fought hard for its independence to escape from the shadows of Pakistan, is now starting to reflect as a mirror image of the same Pakistan it once sought to overcome." https://lnkd.in/gwvSBDdP

Modern Day Pharaoh   In Jewish, Christian and Islamic traditions, the same story is relayed that highlights Divine Justice against the overly hubris Pharaoh.   This story is that of Prophet Moses delivering the Israelites from the oppression of Ramses II (The Pharaoh).   The gross and sad irony NOW is that Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu (leading his democratically elected government), has become the modern day pharaoh; killing children, women, men, aid workers, doctors, journalists, educators and other members of civil society indiscriminately and executing a genocide.   The genocide and its execution have been articulated by the pharaoh himself and his cabinets members in a number of public pronunciations readily available for anyone to watch and hear. These public declarations have been followed by intentional genocidal bombing campaigns targeting every facet of the Palestinian’s civil society resulting in over 32,000 deaths (half of them children).   The ICJ (International Court of Justice) and the UN Special Rapporteur have found credible evidence of genocide and the full reports are there for any objective and reasonable person to inspect.   South Africa was the first county to bring genocide charges against this pariah state and now Ireland is following suit.   It has become apparent to the world that Pharaoh Netanyahu is using forced starvation also as a weapon of genocide; killing food aid workers and limiting food supplies to over 2 million Palestinians; starving thousands to death.   This genocide is taking place with the US government complicity and our tax dollars funding it.   The immoral Biden Administration did not even have the moral courage and fortitude to vote for a ceasefire. After vetoing three resolutions, it finally abstained in the fourth round and then called it non-binding.    Enabling the pharaoh will be part of our bloody and sinful American history as is the genocide against the Native Americans, the enslavement of African Americans, the atomic bomb holocaust in Japan, the invasion of Vietnam, destabilization of South America in the 80s, and the killing of thousands and thousands in Iraq based on WMD lies. The list goes on and on.   We had a golden opportunity to do the right thing but sadly decided to, once again, be on the wrong side of history. There will be a price to be paid for our lack of morality. Maybe we do deserve an even more flawed and immoral leader like Trump. The chickens will come home to roost as the saying goes.     A state that came into existence after World War II based on the occupation of another indigenous people (in the aftermath of the Holocaust) is now carrying out its own genocide. I guess that psychological phenomena that the abused becomes the abuser is quite true.   It is time for people of conscience to call out this mass killing of the innocent for what it is.   SILENCE is complicity. Sooner or later, Justice will prevail, however.
