Ultimately a training course is only as good as its faculty. This clip from Shounuck Patel, DO, one of the faculty at the Regenerative Medicine and MSK Ultrasound Course, perfectly captures our expert multidisciplinary faculty (surgeons, physiatrists, therapists, family practice sports, interventional pain) hard at work teaching....and then brainstorming in the evenings on how to teach better!

In a recently published research article, “Transitioning from Faculty-Written Examinations to National Board of Medical Examiners Custom Examinations in Medical Education,” the authors describe how they moved from #faculty-written examinations to NBME Customized Assessments in a second-year neuroscience course at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. 🔷 They compared the students' satisfaction, workload, and performance between the two types of assessments, and they found that #students preferred the NBME assessments over the faculty-written ones. 🔷 The students felt that the NBME assessments reflected the national neuroscience curriculum better and enhanced their readiness for standardized exams. 🔗 If you’d like to learn more about our #assessment products and how you can make the transition, request a consultation with us: https://lnkd.in/e6fRh6Nz You can access the article here: https://lnkd.in/e2HyjjQt
