As we close out 2024, I’d like to thank our members, staff, volunteers, and everyone who engaged with the Australian Institute of Health & Safety this year. Together, we’ve celebrated key milestones, including the launch of SPARK—our innovative AI knowledge assistant—and expanded advocacy efforts on critical issues such as free access to WHS standards. This year saw a standout National Health & Safety Conference, which brought together hundreds of professionals to share insights and strengthen our collective impact. We also celebrated innovation at the Australian Workplace Health & Safety Awards, showcasing excellence and leadership. From successful symposiums across the country to greater media visibility for the profession, 2024 has been a testament to what we can achieve as a community.
