🎉Celebrating Innovation: 40 years of Elmos’ vision – The founding year This year we celebrate our 40th anniversary at #Elmos, and we would like to use this occasion to take you on a journey through 4 decades of innovations, memories and events, full of change and continuous improvement. It has been 40 years of growth, from a small startup to the company we are today. 1984: Pioneers of structural change in the Ruhr Area On this very day, July 31, 1984, 40 years ago, the journey back in time to the beginnings of Elmos' vision starts. Prof. Dr. Günter Zimmer, Dr. Klaus Weyer and Norbert Ellenberger have the idea of setting up a semiconductor production facility in Dortmund for customer-specific chips using CMOS technology. They want to manufacture products that were previously only produced in Europe by large companies such as AEG, Siemens and Valvo. Despite some skepticism, as a clean room for microchip production was still unimaginable in the Ruhr area at the time, Elmos became the first company in the Technologiepark Dortmund, right next to the university. Thus begins a success story full of innovation, growth and unforgettable moments. 🚀 Join us as we continue our journey through time. Stay tuned for more chapters and milestones of our incredible 40-year history. #CelebratingInnovation #Anniversary #Automotive #Semiconductor #InnovationMatters #AnalogMixedSignalExperts

🔎 Are you ready to revolutionize your production systems? We are! The #nexAMo project started at the beginning of the year, and the second kick-off was held at our headquarters in #Hamlar. This project brings together ten partners from both the German industry and science (live and digitally). 🤝 💡 One key aspect of this project is the Work Package (WP) led by Grenzebach. In this WP, we will focus on developing scalable intralogistics solutions and automated setup processes for various plant systems. Our goal is to create a concept and demonstrators that showcase the immense potential of these advancements. 👀 During our recent meeting, all project partners shared their anticipated solutions for the project. We gained valuable insights into the systems that will be interconnected within nexAMo. Stay tuned as we continue to push boundaries in modular production techniques for the next generation! ✅💪 #automotiveindustry #technologyenthusiasts #WorkPackage #Grenzebach #intralogistics #automatedsetup #plantsystems #conceptanddemonstrators #modularproduction #nextgeneration

Thank you, #BayernJapan, for inviting German Bionic to the Kobe International Industrial Fair 2024! Over the past two days, we engaged in stimulating and productive discussions with many visitors about our pioneering wearable robotic solutions, developed at our R&D hub in #Augsburg, #Bavaria. The fair provided an excellent platform to showcase our world-leading, #AI-based #exoskeleton hardware and software technology, designed to protect the health of workers in industries such as #logistics, #intralogistics, and #construction, as well as in #healthcare settings like #nursing and other #care professions. By making intelligent use of the data we collect, we apply #machinelearning to continually drive innovation, ensuring ongoing improvements and advancements in this field. Our technology helps to make these essential jobs more sustainable, inclusive, and appealing, particularly in the face of labor shortages and aging populations. We were delighted to experience such broad cross-industry interest – especially in a technology-affine country like #Japan, known for its leadership in assistive #robotics and its aging population. Events like this are invaluable for sharing our vision of Industry 5.0 and a future of work built on human-centric European values and the vital role of people. We appreciate such thought-leadership initiatives of the Bavarian State Government, providing platforms to young and highly innovative scales-ups from Germany. Great Job Guillem!! In the dynamic world of product development, one factor that often sets successful teams apart is their ability to blend experience with youthful talent. Experience brings wisdom, a deep understanding of industry trends, and tried-and-true methodologies. It’s the guiding compass that navigates the team through complex challenges, leveraging knowledge accumulated over years to avoid pitfalls and capitalize on opportunities. On the other hand, youthful talent infuses the team with fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a daring spirit ready to push boundaries. They are the trailblazers who question the status quo and aren’t afraid to venture into uncharted territories in pursuit of groundbreaking solutions. When these two forces combine, it creates a potent mix that can drive the creation of truly remarkable products. The seasoned professionals provide a stable foundation, while the young innovators inject vitality and creativity. It’s this synergy that allows us to stay ahead of the curve, continually evolving and improving. So, here’s to all the teams out there striking the perfect balance between experience and youth. Your combined strengths are not just shaping products, but the future of our industries. #labautomation #AI
Last week I had the pleasure to attend the ESCMID Global 2024 congress and visit the stand of Sener Diagnostics, where my colleagues presented the new Ai5 Lab. For the past two and a half years I have worked on the development of this product to enhance laboratory workflows reducing the diagnostic time, which potentially results in human lives saving. It is thrilling to see how countless hours of effort and dedication result in such an innovative product that has a meaningful impact on society. Looking forward to keep innovating!
