Making an AI demo is easy, making a production AI app is (really) hard.
The dominant AI customer trend I've seen is software teams quickly getting to a proof-of-concept, but struggling to get to production due to complexity, security, accuracy, and cost. Numerous panel attendees at TechEx surfaced exactly those problems. Helping customers get to production, personalized AI is our number one focus at Clarifai.
Had a lot of fun yesterday at TechEx discussing getting to production with AI and AI at the Edge. Great conversations on the former with Noorddin Taj, Ken Kao, and Adhar Walia and the latter with Madan Thangavelu, Brian Walsh, Michael Maxey, Saydulu Kolasani, Jim Davis. They each represent some incredible organizations with great use-cases!
Great discussions yesterday during the first day of the Edge Computing Expo! Clarifai's Head of Product, Pete Pacent, participated in an excellent panel about how visionary companies are using AI at the edge to transform industries like Energy and Automatives.
Excellent conversation with Uber, Fisker, National Grid, and ZEDEDA about how development teams and companies can address concerns around edge security and AI, model performance and distillation, and moving from prototype to production.
Are you using AI at the edge? What are some of the biggest challenges your organization is facing around deploying AI at scale?
A big thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the conversations and TechEx Events for organizing this event! Enjoy day 2!
